My Lord, My Billionaire Master novel Chapter 164

William looked in the direction of the dining hall, one hand slowly clenching into a fist.

In the restaurant.

Alice didn't know what else to say in front of Patrick.

She lowered her head and ate.

Suddenly, Patrick put down the spoon, and said without giving up, "I have one last question."

Alice looked at him.

"If William did not appear, even if you were tired, are you still willing to give me a chance?" Patrick stubbornly asked until the end.

Every question he had today was a blow to himself.

But he still couldn't help but ask.

He wanted to know whether he lost to time or William.

Alice looked at him hesitantly. Before she could answer, she suddenly heard a loud noise.

She turned her head and looked behind Patrick, only to see a group of young men dressed like hooligans swaggering in, all of them holding steel pipes in their hands.

A young man with dyed yellow hair rapped the wall with a steel pipe, "All of you, stay put. I'm going to smash the shop today! None of you can escape!"

The store was in an uproar. The customers eating breakfast all stared at them in shock.

The boss was an old man with a beer belly. Hearing this, he came out and smiled at the young man, "Young man, why did you break the shop? I wonder when I offended you?"

The young man looked at all the tables, and his gaze finally landed on Alice's table. He shouted out loudly, "Someone told me to hit the man who eats the Egg - Packed Rice! Brothers, attack!"

After saying that, the group of hooligans rushed in, heavily slamming the door shut before randomly smashing with the steel pipe.

The small restaurant was a mess.

"Patrick!"

Alice immediately stood up, pulled Patrick's hand and stood to the side, and subconsciously stood in front of him.

"I'm fine."

Patrick lowered his eyes and looked at the hand she was tightly grabbing, he pulled her back, "It seems like you have a habit towards me too. However, I am no longer the blind person who needs your full protection."

As he said that, Patrick pulled Alice behind him, and carried the steel pipe and walked towards the young man in the lead.

"What?"

The man looked at him arrogantly, raising his neck.

"Since someone told you to do so, tell me how much he paid, I will double that payment and stop this right now." Patrick said coldly as he took out a credit card from his pocket.

Alice looked at the hooligan, who was wearing an earpiece.

Earpiece?

Listen to orders?

Alice suddenly thought of something, and immediately pulled Patrick back, saying in a hoarse voice, "He is William's man."

It was for them.

No matter what they did, the other party would not let them off.

With these words, the little hoodlum raised the steel pipe and hacked towards them mercilessly.

Patrick quickly pushed Alice against the wall and used his body to protect her. The steel pipe ruthlessly smashed onto his back.

"Ugh."

Patrick moaned in pain and his body crashed onto her. He immediately reached out and pressed both his hands against the wall, preventing himself from hitting her too hard.

"Patrick!"

Alice looked at him in shock.

Patrick stood in front of her and withstood a few punches. His face was deathly pale, his breathing was heavy, and he gritted his teeth as he said, "It's fine, don't worry."

Alice struggled, wanting to escape from his flesh shield.

"Don't move, be good."

Patrick said in a low and deep voice. He could go and fight with those people right now, but the restaurant was so small, if he did not protect her, she would definitely be injured.

He put a hand to cover her eyes.

Having lost her sight, Alice could only hear clanging sounds. There were people smashing the windows, and she heard Tony's anxious shouts.

Then it seemed like two groups of people were fighting.

Patrick protected her in his arms and she was fine.

Soon, she heard the sound die away.

The footsteps slowly disappeared into the distance.

Patrick's hand slowly slid down in front of her. When Alice saw his pale face, she looked at him worriedly.

"I'm fine."

Patrick forced out a smile and turned to look at the side.

He saw a lot of customers huddled in a corner with their heads covered in their arms. The restaurant was a mess. The last hooligans threw a cheque to the shop keeper, who opened the cheque in a daze. Then, his eyes widened in disbelief.

"Seems like it was really William's doing. He is treating us like ants and is toying with us, watching us struggle."

Patrick looked at Alice with difficulty.

Alice was not looking at him, but instead looking at the street outside the restaurant with a serious expression.

"What's wrong?"

Patrick asked.
