As Alice sat, her long eyelashes trembled again as she looked down at the dishes on the plate.
"Young master is indeed an arrogant person, he is very paranoid and believes in himself too much. However, in the Miss Clyne, all of his confidence is collapsing." Daniel smiled and said, "That time in the golden bridge, I'm sure that Miss Mayn't know how desperate Young Master was when you risked your life to protect Patrick."
Alice listened silently.
Daniel seemed to know what she was thinking at the moment, and every word he said pierced her heart.
Was it because in the golden bridge, she had protected Patrick and took off his ring, causing William's confidence to disappear?
"Miss Clyne, do you like listening to me talk about these? I won't talk about it, eat slowly please." Daniel laughed and said, he put down the chopsticks and politely moved to the side.
Alice was move about eating dinner. Silently, she picked up her chopsticks and started eating, putting the food on the plate into her mouth.
The sound of deep footsteps could be heard.
William walked in from outside and sat down beside Alice. His face was extremely handsome, a pair of pitch - black pupils stared deeply at her, and he said with a deep and magnetic voice, "You can do it like that! It's not like I can't afford it!"
Why did she have to suffer a second trauma?
Alice turned her eyes to look at him. She, who had eavesdropped on their conversation, naturally understood what he meant.
Just like what Daniel said, he really didn't have much confidence in her.
Actually, she knew that he had treated her well, but to be honest, even she did not know how much she trusted William in her heart.
William patted her head, "Alright, let's eat!"
After saying that, William picked up the chopsticks and started eating. He ate a lot as he frowned, "This is so bad!"
Alice stared at his face silently.
In the past, he wouldn't eat food that wasn't cooked by her. But now, in order to take good care of her, he ate a lot even if he found it difficult to eat.
After dinner, Alice went into the bathroom to shower.
She changed into a pure cotton nightgown and walked out. When she looked up, she saw William lying on the bed with both his arms behind his head.
Alice couldn't tell what he was thinking.
Was he still thinking about hypnosis?
She walked over, and William glanced at her. Then, he immediately changed his posture and lay down on his side, one hand on his face as he sized her up from top to bottom.
When Alice just came out of the bathroom, her hair was only partially dry. Wearing the warm colored pajamas, she revealed her fair and tender shoulders. Water droplets slid down her neck, down to her collarbone before sliding down to the edge of her chest.
William stared straight at her, wishing that he could follow the droplet of water and slip into her nightgown.
Alice silently lifted up the nightgown over her chest.
Seeing that, the excitement in William's eyes disappeared, and he shouted gloomily, "I hate the night the most!"
It was his deepest torment to share a bed with a woman he could not see.
Alice looked at him in silence, holding a towel to wipe her hair, she walked to the French window and looked at the reflection of herself in the window.
"I'll blow-dry your hair!"
William's voice suddenly came over.
Alice turned her head and looked at him. William walked into the bathroom and picked up a hairdryer.
Immediately after, she was pushed to the piano by William, who turned on the hair dryer to test the temperature and started to stroke her hair.
Alice sat there, staring at the piano, her heart was in turmoil.
He had actually blown her hair.
William's slender fingers were buried in her wet hair, the warm wind was blowing against it, it was warm and comfortable.
His fingers slowly combed through her long hair. His fingertips gently pressed against her hair, as if massaging it.
Alice lowered her head, unconsciously drawing on her lap with her hand.
"Are you comfortable?"
William asked with his voice full of emotion.
Alice did not answer.
William did not expect her to reply, so he continued to massage her hair and used the wind to dry her wet hair.
As Alice sat quietly, she suddenly felt that slender finger moving downwards, massaging the curve of her neck, as if a flame was igniting her.
The dryer was turned off.
There was no sound in the bedroom at all, only endless silence and ambiguous feelings. William stood behind her and pushed her long hair to the side. His black eyes stared straight at her fair and beautiful shoulder blades and couldn't help but lower his head and lean forward.
His thin lip was less than a centimeter away from her skin, and he was about to kiss her shoulder.
Do not kiss.
There was only ambiguity left.
Alice could feel his breath on her shoulders, neck and back, but he didn't kiss her.
Ever since Underground parking lot was brought back by him, William had never touched her again. If he really wanted to, she wouldn't resist.
William slowly embraced her body from the back, and his heavy breathing slowly neared her ears.
Alice closed her eyes, waiting for that moment to come.
William suddenly let go of her.
"Shit!"
William muttered an incantation, turned and ran into the bathroom, followed by the sound of water splashing everywhere.
Alice looked at the door of the bathroom in shock. He still didn't touch her? Could he really hold it in? He was a man that had energy at all times.
She lowered her eyes and stood up from the piano. She walked to the bed, lifted the quilt and lay down.
