T—his trip was worth it.
She understood many things. From now on, she would not shed a single tear for her family.
"Beautiful! Your blood is even more beautiful!
William bellowed, staring at her calf.
Daniel hurried over, carrying the medicine box, "Young Master, give me the medicine box."
Before she even finished speaking, William snatched the medicine box away from her and half-squatted in front of Alice. Then, he placed one of her legs on his lap.
Alice looked down, only then did he realize that blood was seeping out from the small wound on her leg, and a small stream of blood had flowed down to her ankle.
The red of the blood and the white of the ankles were distinct.
She had forgotten that there was a small wound on her leg.
"It's fine, there's no need to treat it. The wound is very small, just wipe off the blood."
Alice said indifferently, she retracted her leg and prepared to clean it up, but her thigh was slapped again, causing her fair skin to immediately turn red.
"Hiss " Alice looked at William who was
squatting in front of her in pain. "What are you doing?"
"What do you think I am doing?"
William glared at her; his eyes filled with the desire to exterminate her. The magnetic voice was filled with anger, "Look at you, every time I forbid you to leave, you always return with scars on your face! Aren't you happy that you're not hurt?"
Alice stared at him blankly. It turned out that she was angry because of her injuries. Her heart felt inexplicably warm as she said softly, "This is only a small wound."
"You still want to carry the heavy injury back?" William's expression became even more gloomy, "Then the next time you're directly split into two, come and find me!"
What a strong anger.
Alice quietly shut her mouth, and not long later, she could not help but mutter: "If you want to cut me in half, then you should be scared to death."
At that time, she was a ghost, not a human.
"I can be scared to death by you? You really flatter yourself!" William glared at her fiercely.
"You still dare to say more?" William was furious beyond belief, he grinded his teeth and glared at her, "You shut up now, I'm annoyed to see you injured!"
Alice could only close her mouth and remain silent.
William squatted in front of her, took out a medicinal wet towel from the medicine box, and wiped off the blood on her leg one by one. Then, he focused on the small wound on her leg and made sure that no glass shards had drilled into it.
Alice rested her legs on top of her knees and lowered her head to watch him seriously and wholeheartedly bandage her wounds.
It was a small injury, but it made him feel like he was facing a great enemy.
Since young, no one had ever cared as much about her being nervous as William.
His careful movements made her feel as if she had been severely injured.
Her long eyelashes trembled slightly as she
looked at William and said, "William, I won't let myself be injured again."
"Heh, I believe you?" William laughed coldly, then glanced at the exquisite and beautiful glass lamp by his side, and said coldly, "I would rather believe that lamp!"
Alice was speechless. Was she that unreliable?
It was just a small wound.
After William finished bandaging her, a pair of slender hands were stained with blood. She was slightly red, but he did not immediately wash his hands, but raised his eyes and glared at Alice, "Remember this, do not wander around again in the future!"
"I didn't run around. You agreed to it today."
"I regret it!" William went back on his words and confidently said, "Even if you run around randomly today! I want to buy a dog collar for you!"
He still remembered the dog collar.
Alice looked at him speechlessly. "William, how could you go back on your words like that?"
What did he mean by even if she runs around randomly'?
He just didn't want to admit that the fact that
she could have been hurt right under his nose was all her fault.
"Then I'll go back on my word! "How about it?" William glared at her, and pulled her up from the sofa, "Come, let's go pick a dog collar!" "No, can you respect someone more?" Alice said helplessly.
"No, come over here!" William forcefully pulled her down, and after walking a few steps, he turned around again, and carried her horizontally once more.
Alice flew into the air, and immediately reached out to grab his neck, looking at his strong face, she could not help but say, "William, you're not serious, right?"
He wouldn't really wear a dog collar on her, would he?
"Of course, I'm serious!"
William said, and carried her inside, through the luxurious corridor inside the ancient fortress, and into a room at the end.
There was a servant standing in the doorway, and as soon as he saw them coming, he reached out and pushed open the gilded doorknob, lowering his head.
Alice became more and more conflicted as he carried her inside, "Put me down, William. If you
really dare to wear it for me, I won't care about you!"
"How dare you!"
"I dare!" Alice shouted loudly, his eyebrows knitted together, "I can let you respect me a little, but I know that it's very sad that your dog was killed. You can't just transfer all these feelings onto me!"
When his brother died, he wouldn't allow her to break her engagement; now that the dog had been killed, he wouldn't allow her to wander around.
Was she a substitute for his brother and his dog?
