Mona was really clear about her background.
"William doesn't love you anymore, don't overestimate yourself in front of me."
"Overestimating myself?" Alice repeated her words and sneered, "But how come I saw a trace of fear on your face the moment you entered the door?"
"I didn't."
Mona immediately denied.
"You know it yourself."
Alice said indifferently, she then nodded politely towards Daniel and walked towards her bodyguard.
Before she left, she unconsciously turned her head to glance at the man on the bed. William was still unconscious.
She walked to the door, and Mona's voice sounded behind her, "Alice, let me give you a word of advice. It's fine if you just live in the Brown Family, get in touch with William is not a good idea."
Alice stopped in her tracks.
She could hear the meaning behind Mona's words, but she knew that Mona would not explain it to her clearly.
Alice did not say anything and left the ward. She did not look back once more.
Coming out of the hospital, the bodyguard walked beside her and said, "Miss, we've already dealt with the police."
"Alright, sorry for troubling you." Alice said gratefully, "Don't tell this to my mother and Patrick, don't make them worry about me."
"We understand, Eldest Miss."
The bodyguard nodded.
Early in the morning, the sky was still dark, with only a few sparse stars. The night wind was very cold.
Alice slowly walked forward and opened her palm. A diamond ear nail laid in her palm, emitting lights and vibrant colors as it was reflected in her eyes.
It was inexplicably dazzling.
Why there was wound on William's ear?
Why did he run away on the night of the oath?
Why did Mona know about her background, but it seemed like she had only just found out about her going back to the Brown Family?
The moment the car hit the street lamp, why did William cover her with his own body? It was as if he was risking his life.
If he gave up his life for her, then why didn't he come to find her when she was imprisoned in the tower? He didn't even come to see her, leaving her to fend for herself.
Did he still love her? No, did he ever love her?
Alice stood in front of the hospital building, being blown by the cold night wind, she thought about many things.
She could not think of the answer, but her felt heartbreaking.
The bodyguards drove the car to her front, and a person came down to open the car door for her. Alice looked down at the diamond ear nail in her hand, clenched her fist, and then bent down to get in the car.
The car drove away.
Alice turned her eyes, only to see the lights of the hospital building were lit.
She held onto the ear nail for a long time without letting go, her fingertips were ice -cold.
Gwyneth's cartoon building, Office of the President.
Sunlight fell from the window and Alice stood there holding a cup of warm water. Her clear black and white eyes quietly looked outside the window, her face was expressionless.
"Alice, why does your current style become so realistic? Your style is even different now."
Anna's voice sounded from behind her.
Alice turned around and looked at Anna who was sitting in front of the computer with her big belly.
In the past, Alice's style was more ideal and romantic.
However, the reality of the situation made her feel depressed.
"Isn't that good?"
Alice asked.
"It's not bad. I just want to know, will your fans be able to accept realistic cartoons?" Anna said worriedly, "The first draft of the [Sea Tower] is already enough to make me depressed. I am not in a good mood, but the content is much meaningful than before."
Alice was a young female Cartoonist.
Most of their contents were about love and romance.
Suddenly changing her style so drastically, it was as if she had changed into a different person.
"I think it's good to change styles occasionally."
Alice walked in front of Anna with a cup of water.
"Occasionally? Are you sure it's only occasionally?" Anna looked at her in disbelief.
Alice smiled faintly, "Then what do you think, do you think it will work?
She respected the company's decision.
"I'll hold a meeting to discuss it with everyone. Once this cartoon of yours appears, you can even become a Dark Cartoonist. Didn't all of the previous operations become useless? I have to think about it."
Anna said with a headache. She never thought that < The Sea Tower > would be such a realistic comic book.
Seeing that, Alice looked at Anna apologetically. It seemed that she had really given Anna a hard time.
"Okay, you shouldn't touch the computer too often. It's bad for your baby." Alice said.
Anna was too hard-working.
"Yes, my Great Cartoonist!" Anna said as she turned off the computer and stood up, and looked at Alice.
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
Alice asked with a smile.
"Alice." Anna walked in front of her, extended her hand and grabbed both her arms, then asked with concern, "What exactly did you experience during this past half year?"
