"— They said we had some kind of lovely background music on us. What kind of music is that?" William really wanted to know, so he stopped and stared at her with his black eyes.
Just as he finished his sentence, music started playing from the supermarket's broadcast. It was an old song by a woman singer. The unique voice rang in every corner of the supermarket
"It's a happy breakup, please be happy. Let's say goodbye and meet each other when we're right."
Then, Alice saw that William's face had turned black, and his face was almost the same color as his mask.
They probably played the wrong music. Soon, the broadcast cut off the music as they heard some promotional ads.
However, William's face had never looked good again, and his entire body was releasing an anger that bordered on the edge.
"Uh, let's go and continue buying vegetables." Alice said in embarrassment.
"The food in this supermarket is all stinky! "Let’s go!"
William immediately pushed the Shopping cart to the side and pulled Alice away. He didn't even turn around; he didn't even want any dishes.
The two of them went to the three other supermarkets to buy all the dishes. Among which, when the music from the three supermarkets reached grief, William turned around and left, regardless of how many dishes he had taken a fancy to.
It was already ten in the morning by the time he finished buying the dishes.
There were no bodyguards or assistants following them, William personally carried the shopping bags to the carriage.
Alice sat in the front passenger seat, holding only a bag of warm buns. She fastened her seatbelt and then opened the paper bag.
She said, "It's already 10, you still haven't had breakfast, eat some steamed buns to fill your stomach up."
It would be impossible to get back to lunch so quickly.
William glanced at it, his eyes filled with disdain, "I don't want to."
A difficult person to serve.
He would rather be hungry than eat.
Just as Alice was about to seal the paper bag, she suddenly remembered that William did not eat breakfast, nor did she eat anything.
The steamed bun was emitting a hot fragrance, Alice was a little hungry after smelling it.
She took off the mask on her face and blew on the hot air. Then, she reached out and took out a small bun. She put it into her mouth and took a bite. The sauce was thin and the taste was very good.
Alice was about to take a second bite when she suddenly felt her face getting numb. She turned her head and saw both of William's hands on the steering wheel, her eyes staring straight at her. Or more accurately, he was staring at her mouth.
"..."
Alice couldn't help but stop chewing.
In the next second, William snatched the steamed bun away and bit down on the place where she had just eaten. The thin lip moved slightly as it ate elegantly, not even a little bit of oil on its lips.
"Steamed Bun, there's still more."
Alice handed the paper bag over to him and bought a bag of buns.
"Not eating."
William looked at him with disdain.
"Fine."
Alice didn't force him to eat anything. Instead, she reached out and picked up a bun for a bite. Before she could even taste the flavor, the bun in her hands was snatched away by William.
She looked at him with a helpless expression and passed the paper bag to him again, "Why did you have to eat when I bit it?"
How unsanitary.
"No." William did not even look at the paper bag, his eyes staring straight at her, "Are you still going to eat or not?"
He just likes to eat her saliva, right?
Alice tried another one, only taking a bite before getting snatched away by William, as if the bun she had eaten before was the real deal in the world. Alice looked at him silently, "Are you asking me to test your poison?"
He would only eat if she took a bite.
"None of your business."
William snatched another bun from her hands and put it into his mouth while chewing. Seeing him like this, Alice suddenly realized something and felt a little uncomfortable.
Alice silently bit into the bun until he was almost full. Then, she stopped eating.
She did not eat, nor William.
He wiped his hands on a wet tissue, dried them, and drove away.
After returning to the Port of Heaven, William carried the things up the stairs as usual, and the six heavy shopping bags in his hands.
Upon entering, Daniel immediately came out to help.
Immediately after, William went to do some exercise.
Daniel cleaned the house.
Alice walked to the kitchen alone and put on the white apron before starting to process the ingredients. She soaked those that needed to be soaked in water first and washed the vegetables.
Time passed quietly.
Preparing ten dishes and two soups by one person wasn't a simple matter. Several pots and pans were opened at the same time. The soup was being cooked in a pot, while the cooking was being stir-fried. The soup was being steamed.
Alice was extremely busy in front of the flow table, and her face was gradually covered in perspiration.
Suddenly, she saw a figure in the background. It was William.
She didn't look at him. She just stared at the pots and pans.
"How many dishes have you already prepared?"
William asked in a low voice.
"Three dishes are done." Alice said. She took out a dish and put it to the side, covering the meal to prevent the hot air from coming out. Then, she continued to cook other dishes.
"So fast."
