My Lord, My Billionaire Master novel Chapter 434

Alice turned her head. Xavier sat straight as William stood there staring at his daughter who was inside the baby carriage.

Alice was pulled outside by Beverly as the mother and daughter stood in front of the fountain.

Beverly stared at Alice and sighed, "Actually I didn't want to leave so quickly. Even if I wanted to leave, I would definitely bring you with me.

Speaking of what happened last night, Alice's face turned pale white.

"Patrick was beaten to the point that even a tooth fell off. We also know that William was originally not going to let him off, but he was only giving us face. In that case, if we forcefully take you away again, it will only make things unpleasant." Beverly said.

Alice lowered her head. Her parents' hearts were clear and kind.Beverly held her hand and looked at her carefully. "Moreover, you two are under the pressure of two great families together, so it's good that you're by William's side. Your father would like to see how capable William is."

"Yes." Alice nodded.

Her parents were the best when they returned to Italy, so she and William would take care of the rest.

"You trust him." Beverly said as she looked at Alice.

Alice looked at her mother, and then nodded resolutely. "I believe that he will definitely take care of me. I am just afraid that he will leave many wounds on himself in order to protect me.

"That sounds like a good son — in - law." Beverly said with a smile. She reached out and stroked her long hair, unwilling to part with her, "I've brought Xavier over to you guys, remember to let William take your son over. It's better for the twins to grow up together."

"I see, Mother."

Alice nodded.

Beverly explained everything to her, but she was still unwilling to let go of her hand, "In the future, you have to take good care of yourself, you can't get sick from the cold, and even more so, you can't let others bully you.

"Mother, you and Father must take care of yourselves as well. William and I will find some time to visit you."

Alice said as she reached out to hug Beverly, and leaned on her shoulder. Her heart was filled with unwillingness to part, but she knew that separation was the best option.

"Right." Beverly released her, and looked at her hesitantly, "Patrick is here, he wants to see you. I only said that I would pass the message on his behalf, but you have to decide whether or not you want to see him."

Towards Patrick's actions last night, that she was angry, but she knew his usual gentle nature. Adding to the fact that Patrick's injuries were not light, she could only blame it on the alcohol.

Alice stood there, a complicated look in her eyes.

After a while, she nodded, "Okay, I'll go to see him."

Alice turned around and walked to the front of the car. A few black cars were parked there shining brightly in the sunlight. She walked over and the car door opened.

Patrick stood in front of the carriage, his long fingers resting on the door of the carriage. Under his short hair, there were a few bruises on his relatively feminine face, and a small piece of white gauze was stuck to his lips.

Seeing Patrick, Alice once again thought of the scene from last night, and felt a little apprehensive in her heart.

"Alice."

Patrick looked at her, his eyes devoid of any light, and his voice filled with guilt.

Alice paused for a moment, then continued walking forward. Patrick turned around and walked with her, the two of them walking side by side on the long road. Her lips slightly moved, her voice sounding as light as a breeze, "Are you alright?"

Patrick placed both of his hands in his pockets, and upon hearing that, he let out a bitter laugh, "I didn't think you would still care about my body.

"I know you were drunk last night, not your intention."

Alice said softly, and her head lowered as she looked at the road beneath her feet.

"I didn't hurt you, did I?" Patrick looked at her and said with a gentle voice.

Alice shook her head.

William had arrived in time, otherwise, she would have suffocated to death.

"I don't want to explain everything with alcohol. Alice, I love you.” Patrick walked beside her. "Although I'm drinking, it's not strange that I would do such a thing. But I also know that by doing something like this, I would have completely lost you because your final apology and gratitude wouldn't even exist."

Alice walked forward silently, not knowing what else to say.

"Once again I have nothing."

Patrick laughed bitterly.

"No, you're so young and so good, you can start over anytime, believe me." Alice looked at him and said.

She had always believed that as long as Patrick was willing to start over, his future would be brighter than it was now.

"Start again? I don't even know how to start over. " Patrick's voice was extremely bitter, "Tell me, who is my bane between you and William? Why did I lose so miserably?"

It was as if he had never won even once.

William was stubborn, and he did not understand the need to retreat, time and time again.

It was all in vain.

"" Alice stopped in her tracks, raised her eyes and looked at Patrick's scarred face and asked, "Patrick, do you hate me?"

He had actually said the word 'nemesis'.

Patrick also stopped in his tracks, and he stood in front of her, a pair of long and narrow eyes staring deeply at her, and said in a deep voice, "It was not my wish to say that I don't hate his, but when I woke up, everything changed. Even now, I have tried my best to protect you, but the result is that you are still so determined to reach his side. Sometimes thinking about it, it seems that I live rather short, I really wish that I was still that blind Patrick."

He had spent too much time and energy on her, but nothing had come back.

This time, he lost even more thoroughly.
