On the beautiful spiral staircase, Alice sat in the middle of the stairs, holding her face with one hand, and looked around her.
Back again.
Back to this place.
From then on, this place was truly her home. It was a place where she could shelter herself from wind and rain, and it sounded especially beautiful.
Alice sat on the stairs as she thought to herself. It was very strange, cause there were still many trials and hardships ahead of her to settle, but her heart was incomparably at peace.
"Miss Alice, the sugar has been fixed."
A maid walked over and nodded towards Alice.
"So fast?"
Alice was pleasantly surprised. She stood up from the stairs and walked down, passing by a resting room's door, and Alice peeked inside, only to see William sitting on a chair, wearing a comfortable white robe. Both of his hands rested on the back of the chair, and he glared at Kathy inside the baby carriage.
Kathy was almost lying down inside the baby carriage, her legs kicking off the ground, her eyes like black grapes also staring straight at William, without blinking.
After exiting the room, William had been staring at Kathy.
It must have been two hours.
Alice smiled helplessly and walked towards the kitchen. Under the chef's guidance, she made a box of lollipops, which the chefs were currently wrapping for her.
"Have you tried it? Can you do it?"
Alice asked the chef nervously.
"We don't dare to taste it. Young master had said that even if the Miss Alice's food is poisonous, no one is allowed to taste it." The chefs were much more relaxed in front of Alice, and their words were not as restrained as William's.
"Alright, then I'll give it to William to have a taste."
Alice took two lollipops and walked towards the lounge. Once she went in, he saw that William and Kathy were still staring at each other.
She had no idea how these two could be so patient.
"William, eat some sweets." Alice handed him a lollipop.
William swept his eyes across her face with disdain, "I don't like sweet food."
Don't like sweets?
Alice stood there and tore apart the wrapping paper, muttering, "Alright, I'll eat,and I don't know how I made it..."
Before she could finish, the lollipop had already mysteriously disappeared from her hand.
Alice looked up and bit off the lollipop. Calmly, she tore the wrapper off the thin lip's body.
Alice was speechless.
Seeing William biting on the lollipop in his mouth, the Kathy was also interested. Her little hands grabbed at him while she shouted "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH", but she could not say anything.
"This is mine, it's not yours."
William said with a lollipop in his mouth as he raised his eyebrows at Kathy.
Kathy was anxious to the point that her eyeballs rolled around, and her small mouth kept smacking the floor, and she couldn't wait to rush out of the baby carriage to snatch it.
Alice was amused by the Kathy, she squatted beside the baby carriage and said, "You still can't eat the candy, and I'll let you eat it when you're older."
"Ah ah ah ah."
Kathy licked her lips.
"How is it? Is it delicious?" Alice stood up and asked William.
"Delicious!" William looked at her, and his magnetic voice sounded a little slurred, "Anything you do will be delicious."
"Is that so?" Alice smiled in satisfaction. With William's support, she, the chef, felt extremely satisfied.
She tore off the wrapping paper, put the lollipop in her mouth, and frowned.
So sweet.
She looked at William and saw that he did not feel uncomfortable at all. He did not even take out the candy as if it was really the best. Alice took the lollipop in her hand and stood beside the baby carriage. "William, what are we going to do next?"
"You still want to do it?"
William immediately glared at her maliciously, sweeping his gaze back and forth across her body. "I don't care, but are you sure you still have more stamina?"
Alice wanted to kick him, "You know I'm not talking about this."
She was referring to how they were going to take care of things one step at a time.
"Then which one are you talking about?"
"I don't understand" was written all over William's handsome face as he stared at her. Suddenly, his gaze fell on Kathy as he laughed softly.
Alice followed his gaze and looked down. She saw Kathy sitting inside the baby carriage, sticking her head out and licking the lollipop in her hands.
Alice immediately dodged, "I already said I can't eat it."
Kathy licked her lips and did not say a word, as if she was still savoring the taste of the sugar.
"Smart, like me!"
William said with a face full of pride.
"Like you, why didn't you hug her?" Alice stood at the side and asked, he staring at Kathy for more than two hours, but in the end he did not even hug her.
Hearing that, William shot her a glance, and confidently said: "Then this is just a small one, what do I do if I pinch her to death?"
Is he serious?
Alice looked at him speechlessly, and thought for a while before encouraging him, "I won't pinch you to death, try hugging me tight."
"No!" William immediately refused, "Even I hug you and I would not pinch you to death."
Alice was completely speechless.
William crossed his long legs and sat properly on the chair. He reached out to pull Alice into his embrace and sat down, with one arm around her, and he stared straight at Kathy who was licking her lips and drooling even more.
Alice used her handkerchief to wipe her saliva. Kathy greedily licked her hands again.
