Alice and William arrived at White Sands Islands by helicopter.
As the helicopter flew above the island, William took a glance down at the White Sands Islands from the sky. The island was made up of white buildings, and the trees and walls were specially decorated, making it seem as if they were defending against enemies.
William turned and look at Alice.
"What are you looking at me for?"
Alice asked.
"Not bad, young miss of the rich family." William looked at her from top to bottom.
Alice felt embarrassed, but then she felt indignant: "This is an archipelago, and in your eyes, it's the home of a rich family?"
Although she did not know what the Brown Family was really doing, nor did she know exactly how much power and money they had, just because they had the White Sands Islands did not mean that they were just rich people.
"You like the islands? I'll buy you ten."
William said arrogantly.
Alice became angry, "Didn't you say that all the money was spent on engagement ceremony?"
He even said that she was wasteful. Seriously, her engagement ceremony wasn't something that she had requested for to be done in such a grand manner, so it was her fault?
"Oh, yes." William acted as though he had suddenly realized something, he raised his eyebrows and revealed an evil look: "I forget that I'm already a man who's been hollowed out by a woman."
Alice reached out and hit him.
She had never taken the initiative to spend his money. She had even spent all of her savings on buying things for Kathy.
As soon as the plane landed, a man dressed in handmade clothing came forward and respectfully bowed to them, "Young Miss, Mr. William, you are here, this way please."
What entered their eyesight was a very tall wall. The wall had been wiped clean, but there were still some old marks on it, making the wall look as if it had returned to its former glory.
In front of the gate grew extremely rare and precious plants.
Alice turned and looked at William. William lifted his eyes and glanced at his surroundings indifferently. There was no shock in his eyes.
"Let's go for a walk. We don't need to take the car."
Alice held William's hand, she walked in, and seeing that William had been observing their surroundings, she could not help but ask, "What are you looking at? Are you comparing it with your British Cullen Family? "
"There's nothing to compare. Father values the facade, so naturally the construction is more magnificent than this place."
William said, his black leather shoes stepped on the stone tiles, stepping over the green moss marks on them.
The two walked inside. Along the way, they saw all sorts of strange flowers and plants growing on both sides of the road. There was a flower bush that bloomed exceptionally brightly at this time of year.
The design of the place was not as spacious and clean as the Imperial Castle. The road here was long and narrow and the rest were filled with plants and buildings.
"Stop looking around."
Alice waved her hand in front of his eyes.
"Why?"
William looked down at her.
"Because, no matter what you are looking at right now, I feel like you're thinking something like newly rich in your heart." Alice said.
William pursed his lips, his long fingers swept across the flowers. Suddenly, he stretched out his hand, picked a flower and took it in front of her. He stared at her intently, while spoke in a low and sexy voice, "Then, is the rich young miss willing to have me as your servant?"
Alice laughed, then straightened her back, withdrew her smile, accepted the flowers, and said seriously, "It's my honor."
"Hmm, I also think that you are quite honored."
William nodded.
Alice laughed, she turned and saw a group of servants following behind them silently, at the moment they all had their heads lowered with smiles, politely not disturbing them.
"Let's go."
Alice pulled William to a big building.
Beverly was already standing there and waiting. She was wearing a dress and stood under a tree, there was a large patch of aloe growing beside her. When Beverly saw them, she immediately came over and greeted them happily, "Alice."
Alice released William's hand, walked forward and embraced Beverly.
Beverly intimately kissed her face to express her longing for her, "After I came back, I've always missed you."
"Me too, Mother."
Alice said while smiling, and released Beverly.
Beverly turned to look at William, who was standing straight, and looked at her, "Mother-in-law."
"Mr. William was so busy yet he flew over to pick me up. I'm really sorry." Beverly said, looking at William with eyes full of praise, "Come, come in, let's take a seat."
Alice was pulled in by Beverly.
William looked down at his arm. Having lost a delicate hand to hold him, he suddenly felt empty.
He walked inside with a cold expression.
The three sat in the living room, Beverly personally brewed coffee for them. William stared at Alice, gesturing for her to speak.
Alice's skin was numb from his look, and she asked Beverly: "Mother, where's father?"
"He's been busy with Patrick lately. I haven't seen him for a week." Beverly stood there and grinded the coffee beans with a machine, then turned and walked towards them, "I said to him that you guys are here today, but he is still occupied."
"Looks like I won't see father this time." Alice said as she handed a cut fruit to William and said, "What about mother's luggage? We will go tonight."
"It's already been packed. Mr. William is busy, I won't ask you to wait."
Beverly said with a smile.
As they were talking, people came in carrying gifts. Jewellery, nutritional supplements, paintings, everything.
