In the end was himself
"Young Master Miller will definitely be able to see it."
No one knew Patrick's perseverance more than Leon.
Young Master Miller had been tormented by William too much. He really wanted to stick his head out, he really wanted to turn back. Once his vision completely disappeared, it would be even more impossible for him to do so.
I hope that it will be as Young Master Miller wishes. This way, after going blind, Young Master Miller won't have too many regrets.
"William's power and influence are too deep — rooted. Do you really think that I would be able to see his career and background?" Patrick laughed lightly and asked.
"Ugh."
Leon was speechless.
"Actually, in your heart, you think that it's impossible, right? You think that I'm delusional? On what basis do you think I should be able to defeat William in such a short
period of time?" Patrick said.
"No matter what, I will do whatever Young Master Miller orders me to do."
Leon expressed his loyalty.
He did have such doubts, but he was willing to help Patrick.
"The success rate of my plan is over 80%." Patrick said.
Leon looked at him suspiciously.
Eighty percent, how could it be that high?
William had already built his business empire when he was twenty years old. In the whole world, he was an important figure, how could he be defeated so easily?
"Do you know why?"
Patrick said, a light flashing past his eyes.
"Because I am not the one who destroyed William in the end." Patrick said.
"Who is that?"
The Leon looked at Patrick in confusion. Patrick had not told him his overall plan, and he only knew a portion of it.
"William."
Patrick spat out two words from his lips.
Leon was startled, he thought that Patrick was just asking a sick question and wanted to ask more, but Patrick's face revealed a look of exhaustion, as if he did not want to continue talking about it.
Patrick stood on the balcony and turned to look outside. The sun was shining bright, but it could not warm up the cold feeling on his body.
"Whether she succeeds or not, she hates me."
Patrick slowly said.
So be it.
Anyway, that's all.
Leon looked at Patrick silently.
"Even if she hates me, at least she won't ignore me." Patrick laughed bitterly.
He stretched out his hand and pressed his forehead, "I always want to sleep after taking the pill. I'm going to lie down for a while."
"Alright, Young Master Miller."
Leon nodded, and looked at his figure and could not help but let out a light sigh.
The sky was clear and the sun shone through the forest, landing on the servants entering and exiting Imperial Castle. A new day had begun.
Alice stood on top of the tall building and in front of the French windows, she was wearing a Milan custom — made long skirt, which was white, blue, and soft. It was especially modified from the design concept of the Chinese cheongsam, which not only retained the Chinese elements, but also had a European style.
She looked down from above, and from this angle the whole view of the front of the castle fell into her sight.
The majestic atmosphere was filled with mystery.
Here, William's twenty — ninth birthday was about to pass.
Alice looked at the meandering road that led outside. On both sides of the road, there were bodyguards standing straight, everything was in an orderly fashion, and after a while, there would be many guests entering. She would act like a hostess to welcome them and present the best day for William.
"So, you are here."
A magnetic voice sounded.
Alice turned her head and looked at her from the corner. She was still wearing her pajamas and her face was tilted slightly as she looked at her from head to toe. Her gaze was too exposed, as if he wanted to swallow her whole.
"You're awake?" Alice smiled.
William looked at her. The thin lip raised an arc and took out a set of framed paintings from behind him. Her long fingers pressed against the white borders of the painting.
"Look what I found under the bed." William looked at her and asked seriously with his deep black eyes, "Is this the birthday present you gave me?"
This act of feigning ignorance really gave him a perfect score.
"Does Mr. Cullen like it?"
Alice played along with him as they lost their memories towards the painting.
"Surprise."
William said lazily while leaning on the door, his voice carrying the scent of a London accent.
Alice's smile became wider, she did not accompany him to continue acting, and said, "I've prepared the new dish for your breakfast, and it's waiting for you to try it."
William stood up straight, and his eyes became even brighter. "Looks like today will be a beautiful day."
"Yes."
Alice nodded.
"Then I will go and change my clothes. Daniel has personally made a set of formal attire for me, and I wonder if I can wear it." William said with disdain.
"Steward Daniel can sew dresses?" Alice exclaimed, what else could not Daniel do?
William held the picture frame in his hand and glanced at her, "Don't praise another man."
"I didn't."
"You can't even praise him in your heart."
