My Lord, My Billionaire Master novel Chapter 61

S—he didn't want it.

She definitely wouldn't.

Alice fell down onto the chair, her hands tightly holding onto the fork, and her mind in complete chaos.

In the end, she was still dragged away by William to his company.

The sky was clear, and the N.E. Building was located in the San Francisco's technological district. It was a magnificent sight.

The CEO's Office was at the building's higher levels. Inside a large area of windows, William was working at a desk, his hand holding onto a mouse as he checked the technical reports on the computer.

The security issue of N.E mobile phone software has been solved perfectly.

William put down the mouse and pressed the center of his brows with his fingertip, soothing himself from exhaustion. He slowly turned his head, and saw Alice seated in front of a white desk that had been set up for her.

She sat there with her paintbrush in her hand. The tip of fingers pressed against the white paper, but she drew nothing.

"What are you daydreaming for?"

William spoke in a low voice as he looked deeply at her with his black eyes.

Alice regained her senses as she looked up at William. The profoundness in his eyes startled her, and she avoided his gaze.

The confession from that morning was still fresh in her mind. It was the first time she had seen someone confess with a stern expression, and it was also the first time she was confessed with a face full of fear.

"What do you mean?"

William's tone became sullen and his eyebrows knitted together.

"That's what I was like when I was drawing comics. When I was thinking, my mind was empty." Alice lowered his head to look at the white paper, and said indifferently.

"Are there many problems with the Cartoonist?"

William mocked her, but did not say anything more.

Alice sat there, her hands holding onto the brush tightly. Sitting here, she couldn't draw anything.

When she thought about how William fell in love with her, she became extremely annoyed.

No matter how she thought about it, she didn't know which advantage she had that William loved, and she felt like her head was about to explode. She even wanted to rush in front of him and yell: "Can you not be interested in me? I would change whatever you liked me.”

The doorbell rang twice.

William picked up the vibrator on the table and pressed it. The door to the office automatically opened.

A secretary walked in, holding a document in her hands. When she saw Alice, she was startled. But because of her professional qualities, she did not ask anything and only placed the document on William's table, "CEO, here is the information you requested."

"Yes."

William picked up the information and flipped through it.

"CEO, in ten minutes you and Director Field will have a lunch. The car is ready. Anything else?"

"It's gone. Get out."

William said, and immediately let her go.

"Yes, CEO."

The secretary couldn't help but look back at Alice as she walked, feeling depressed and frustrated. Why did the CEO bring a woman into the company?

Girlfriend?

Lover?

"What are you looking at? Do you think this is a zoo?" William felt the secretary's curious gaze and his face turned cold.

As his secretary, she shouldn't be looking around.

The secretary stood in a panic on the spot, "CEO, I..."

She had only taken an extra look.

"Go to the marketing department yourself. Don't stay in the secretary's office anymore." William said with a gloomy face.

"Yes, CEO."

The secretary hurriedly covered her face and left with tears.

Alice sat there and looked at the secretary's back.

William looked at Alice, "What, sympathize with her?"

"Nope." Alice honestly shook her head, "I just think that this secretary is stupid. You are a person who tends to get angry, she still dare to peek around."

"You're saying I have a bad temper."

William said angrily.

"Nope."

"Even if my temper is bad, so what?" William admitted it self— righteously, "What can you do to me?"

Alice fell into a deep state of speechlessness. She took out her phone, looked at the time, and then stood up to pack her drawing.

"What are you doing?" William said.

"Pack things." Alice placed the drawing into a big bag and carried it on her shoulder. Then, she looked at William and said, "Aren't you going to have a lunch meeting right now? I don't want to stay here. I'll go out and look around and find something to eat."

After being trapped here for so long, she really wanted to leave.

"Who gave you permission to leave?"

William stood up from the table, and threw the bag in her hand onto the chair.

He never respected her drawings.

Alice frowned as she saw his barbaric actions, her delicate face filled with anger. "Then when you go out to eat, I want to eat as well, don't tell me you want me to stay here forever?" Is she really your dog? Do you think dogs should be allowed to walk around?

Did he want to keep her stuck here?

Hearing that, William was amused, the anger on his face dispersed. His smile was filled with charm, then he caressed her head and said, "I'll go out to walk around for you now."

"What?"

"I'm going to lunch. You wait for me in the car." William said.

Alice was startled, "Why?"

Why she has to wait for him at his meeting?

"Because I don't like the way you're trying so hard to leave me." William patted her head as a profound light flashed in his eyes, "Also, I want to see you the moment I finish what I need to do!"
