He said that none of the women he fancied could match her.
"Huh?" Suddenly receiving such a high evaluation, Alice was stunned.
William drank all the black tea she poured, then handed the empty cup back to her and said, "One more cup."
Alice silently poured a cup for him and passed. William finished all of it again, and then wanted it again.
She realized that William would always take everything she had done for him, no matter how hard it was to eat. As long as she made it, he would be able to eat a lot. But the problem was, what she had done wasn't that good, did he need to support her like this?
After William drank a few cups in succession, his handsome face was filled with pride, in his woman's outstanding skills.
"How many points can my woman's culinary skills get?"
William looked at his instructors, his eyes high up with confidence.
The instructors were completely dumbfounded seeing William's confidence. They all raised their cups and continued to taste the black tea, and after drinking a few mouthfuls, they all started to frown.
It really was just a beginner's level. How could he be proud of it?
"Ninety?" One of the instructors looked at William carefully and said.
William frowned.
"A hundred! A perfect score! " The instructor immediately corrected him.
"That's it."
William's eyebrows relaxed. He pulled Alice's hand and linked her ten fingers, then said to the instructors, "From now on, we will come over once a week, you all must teach her all the dishes cooked by the noble families. With her talent, two months is enough?"
"Yes, of course." Facing William's inexplicable pride, what could the instructors say?
"Let's go."
William turned into an embrace and hugged Alice as he left. As he walked, he said, "Study hard, I want to take you to England."
That was where he was born.
He wanted her to meet the place.
"ok."
Alice didn't understand where he got his confidence from from learning once a week, and in two months' time, she was able to learn it? He really thought highly of her.
If she were to use this skill to meet his father and mother, there would only be one outcome. She would be chased out.
But that was good, too. She would be rid of him.
Walking out of the cuisine class, Alice was carried by William the whole way. Halfway, her phone vibrated, so she stopped and took out her phone.
"Hello, Mom."
Alice picked up the call, her voice low.
"Alice, where did you go? Why did I come to your rented house, they said that you had checked out, and now you're living somewhere else?" The foster mother sounded anxious.
William stood behind her, circling around her, accompanying her as she made calls. He grabbed her empty hand and played with it.
"You went to the house I rented?" Alice was stunned, then quickly reacted, "Yes, I changed houses, but I didn't tell you."
One, two, three, four, five.
Five, four, three, two, one.
William counted her fingers out of boredom. Suddenly, he raised her hand and bit them.
"Hmm?" Alice became sensitive and trembled.
William smirked and continued to bite her finger.
"What's the matter with you?" The foster mother could hear the difference.
"Nothing." Alice immediately said, retracting her finger, "Mother, are you still over there?"
William hugged her tightly in dissatisfaction. The punitive nature of the girl caused her to frown, and only then did he let go. He then grabbed her fingers and played with it, disturbing her to focus on the phone.
"Yes, I'm over here. Where are you staying now? I want to see you."
The foster mother said, sounding worried.
Where did you live?
Port of Heaven, she definitely cannot let her adoptive mother go.
Alice looked outside. Since it was very close to the place she rented, she said, "I'm outside drinking something, come over for a while."
"Alright."
After giving the address to her foster mother, Alice hung up the phone to see that William was still playing with her finger, twisting it into various shapes, and said, "Your finger is very soft."
No matter how soft it was, it wasn't his toy.
Alice retracted her hand, turned in William's arms, and faced him as she said seriously, "I'm going to the next restaurant to meet my mother, do you want to go back first?"
William stared at her and thought for a few seconds, then said: "Your mother? I want to see her."
"What?" Alice was startled, "What are you meeting my mother for, there is nothing gonna happen."
"Because you're with me now." William said.
"No." Alice immediately said, looking at him pleadingly, "Please, go first. My mother is just a housewife, she has nothing to say to you."
How could he let her see her family?
William stared at her pleading expression, his black pupils cooling down bit by bit, and his voice became especially gloomy: "Do you really not want me to meet with your family?"
He could tell from the The Isle of the Clouds.
She didn't want anyone around her to recognize him. How could he not be in the public?
