David fell on the ground and turned to look at the crowd, laughing;he raised his voice, "Sorry, I couldn't sit steadily."
With that, David looked at William who had a gloomy face, and laughed as he extended his hand out, "Why aren't you pulling me up?"
William stared at him coldly, and after staring at him for a few seconds, he finally bent down and stretched out his hand to pull David up, but David was not completely stable yet, so William lowered his head and whispered into his ears, and almost bit his teeth, "Give up this position; don't force me to fight with you; you can't win against me!"
"If you steal it, it will become internal strife in the Cullen family. At that time, you will force your mother to death." David stared at her intently, his expression solemn, he lowered his voice and said, "Since we have reached this point, you have no other choice. Either let me come, or force mother to her death."
William's figure became stiff; he tightly clenched his teeth, and since he could not refute anything, he pulled David up.
David patted his shoulder, and smiled at the crowd. Everyone thought that it was just a small interlude, and turned to continue their dance and chat.
Alice was very close to them. She stood there, her face pale, and turned to walk towards the direction of the ancient fortress.
Alice almost fell to the ground when she heard her voice.
She lifted the hem of her skirt and walked forward. She finally knew what was wrong with William when he said her wrong.
From his point of view, everything had already been decided. If they were to either force David to death, who could not take the burden anymore, or force Elizabeth to death, and the one who caused this situation was still her his woman, whom he could not stop.
William was a conceited man; he was used to doing everything his own way. No matter what others said, she had now made it difficult for him.
Alice walked back. Upon entering, she saw Holy sitting on the stairs, holding a book and reading; his small face did not have any expression, but the bandage on his face was getting smaller and smaller, and his injuries had already healed quite a bit.
"Why are you sitting here?"
Alice walked over to sit beside him and asked softly.
"The teacher said that there's a ball at home and let's play it."
Holy said as he sat there with a cold expression.
Holy and Alice's relationship was much closer than before. Now that Holy saw her, he wouldn't immediately stand up and perform any form of courtesy.
"Then you're not going to play?" Alice asked.
"I don't want to play."
Young Master Holy had such a personality.
"Fine."
Alice also did not let him play. She did not leave, but quietly sat by his side, not saying a single word as she silently looked at the ground in front of him.
Holy looked at the book for a while, then turned to look at her; his pair of black eyes had a hint of suspicion; he pursed his lips and asked, "Is anything the matter?"
"Huh?" Alice was startled, she lowered her eyes and looked at him, "Did I sit here and disturb you from reading? Then I'll leave now."
As she spoke, Alice was about to stand up. She blinked a few times as her small hands grabbed onto her skirt.
"Holy?"
Alice lowered her eyes and looked at his small hands in confusion.
"Are you unhappy?"
Holy looked up at her and asked.
Alice stared at his little face blankly, then suddenly realized that Holy was worrying about her;a warm current couldn't help but flow down her heart. She sat down on the stairs once again and said, "I met with a little trouble recently."
"What is it?"
Holy asked.
"I made a choice. I don't know if it was right or wrong. I'm so tired." Alice said honestly as she looked down at Holy. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said these things to you."
"You don't know if it's right or wrong?"
Holy asked her.
"Yeah, I was confused. I thought that it would help someone else, but it doesn't seem that it will work." Alice said to her own young son, "I'm thinking about what I should choose if I were to try again, I really don't know."
"Is it because of what happened here?" Holy asked, his voice was young and tender, but it revealed an age that did not match his age.
"You're so smart." Alice forced out a smile and rubbed his little head.
"Then are you going out to play?" Holy asked.
"Hmm?"
"When Kathy is unhappy, she always says that she'll just go out and play." Holy said seriously. Alice placed her hand on his shoulder, "Really? That's a good idea."
However, how could she be in the mood to play at this time?
"Then you go out and play. I, Kathy, will take care of you." Holy said seriously, he thought for a moment and asked, "Do you want me to accompany you?"
Alice looked at him, staring at him intently, "Holy, is it my misconception? I feel that you have grown closer to me."
Hearing this, Holy's small face tensed up, as if he had been exposed. He stood up with the book in his hands and turned to leave.
Alice looked at him.
"I know you don't feel good here. You wait for me to grow up. I'll take care of you when I grow up, so you don't have to look at anyone's face. You go and play now."
With that, Holy turned and left, even almost falling to the ground.
