- Epilogue theme three
When the firefighters and policemen rushed forward, Cullen had already fallen into stupefaction. His entire body was covered by the air cushion, and the already warm sunlight shone onto his body.
Cullen was immediately escorted to the ambulance.
Bob was also admitted to the hospital after being overstimulated.
In the quiet corridor, Holy and Kathy stood at the door of the ward, holding hands. Ariza and the bodyguards were behind them.
In the huge sickroom, Cullen laid on the sickbed and accepted the infusion. The liquid dripped down drop by drop from the transparent tube, his short hair was in a mess, his angular face was pale white.
The doctor stood by the bed and put away the file.
"Uncle Doctor, will my Dad die?" Kathy stood there, her small hands tightly holding onto Holy. Kathy's big eyes had already turned red from crying, as she looked at the doctor in fear and fear.
Under the gaze of such a little girl, even the doctor's heart had been melted. He immediately said, "Don't worry, your dad will be fine."
"Then why is he lying there?"
Kathy pointed to Cullen who was on the bed, as her large tears fell again.
Holy did not shed tears, his pitch-black eyes still tightly staring at the doctor, waiting for the answer.
"He has fainted. When he wakes up, he'll be fine. There's no danger to his life." the doctor said, standing in front of them. He couldn't help but take another look at them.
"When can he wake up?"
Holy asked.
"Ugh." The doctor opened the file in his hand and squatted down in front of them. "I can't say when he'll wake up, but he'll probably wake up soon. I just checked the medical history of your Dad. He's had a car accident, had a concussion and fainted before."
"I wanna he wakes up now."
Kathy said as she stood in front of the doctor, choked with sobs.
"If you guys really want him to wake up, why don't you all stay here and have a good chat with him? Maybe he'll wake up soon?" The doctor gave the two children hope, then stood up and said to Ariza, "Please take good care of the patient."
"Thank you, Doctor."
The doctor lifted his leg and left.
Holy pulled Kathy to the bed, and Ariza immediately brought two chairs over for the two children. The two sat on the chairs holding hands as Kathy looked at Cullen who was on the bed and said, "Dad is a great hero, right?"
In order to save Bob, Dad went down.
Holy sat there without moving, he handed the phone in his hand to Holy and said softly, "Young Master Holly, the Steward Frank called and said that he wants to talk to you."
Holy turned his eyes to look at Ariza, extended his hand out to take the phone. And got down from the chair to walk towards the door, his voice was young and calm, "Hello, Grandpa Frank."
"Little master, how is the young master now?" Frank asked.
"He's unconscious. We’re waiting for him to wake up." Holy told him the truth, and Frank said, "It's good that he's fine, then do you know when will he wake up? "Can he wake up before 10 o'clock tonight? Forget it, 11 o'clock at night, 12 o'clock is fine."
"The doctor said it might not be so." Holy said, the doctor was not able to be precise enough to wake up, "Where's Mom?"
"Alice is still on the boat. She still doesn't know what happened because the news on the boat was blocked." Frank said, "Although Young Master told me to wait for him to come here no matter what, I have to tell Alice that he is unconscious and needs to recuperate. I should inform Alice to disembark from the ship and come here."
Frank seemed to be talking to himself, not discussing with a little kid. Young Master's situation, no matter what, he wouldn't be able to hurry onto the boat tonight.
Just as Frank was about to hang up, he heard Holy's tender voice, "Why didn't you listen to my Dad?
"What?"
Frank was stunned.
"If he said he would hurry to the boat, then he will definitely do it. Why don't you believe him?" Holy asked. He believed in Cullen, because Cullen believed in him today.
Frank's tone was so serious that Frank could not feel that he was discussing things with a little kid, "Does young master mean not to tell Alice, and wait for young master to wake up?"
"Yes."
Holy said, because this was Cullen's own idea.
"But the young master fell from such a high place and fell into a coma. He won't wake up for a while." Frank said.
"I will wake him up. Please trust me."
Holy stood at the door of the ward and said seriously, his black eyes showing his determination.
Frank was silent for a moment then said:" Alright, I will not explain it to Alice for now, everything should be according to Young Master's plan.
"Yes."
Holy hung up the phone, turned his head and looked at the sickbed. Kathy had crawled onto the sickbed, and was sitting on Cullen's lap, his long hair naturally curled up loose, causing her to lie down on Cullen's lap. She patted him lightly with her hands and muttered: "Dad, wake up, as long as you wake up, Kathy will never eat sugar again."
Ariza and the bodyguard stood there and sighed, they didn't know when the young master would wake up.
A few hours ago.
The sun was shining brightly, Alice sat in the carriage and took out the clothes from the bag, she stood there in a daze.
It was not a fancy evening dress but a uniform, a waiter's uniform. A short and black top black skirt with a red belt.
