"Hunter Law, the head of a hospital, who has been in constant trouble recently, hanged himself in his home this morning because he could not bear the external pressure. His family claimed that he had been harassed and forced by a woman whose surname is Ye..."
Watching the news on TV, Ruby became panic instantly. All of this happened so suddenly that she didn't know how to deal with it.
Edward walked in, and it was the first time he entered the villa since Ruby moved in.
"You finally came back to see me. I thought you had forgotten me."
Ruby was sitting on the sofa, saying coquettishly and pretending to paint her nails. Seeing Edward coming, she only took a slight glance, and her eyes returned to her half-painted fingernails.
"You have enjoyed yourself, haven't you!"
"Are you kidding? Recently I have almost become a joke. My wedding was destroyed. My kid was gone. What a mess of my life." Suddenly all the nail polish bottles in front of her were smashed to the ground by Edward, and a bottle of red one even spilled on her luxurious white skirt.
"Ruby, don't be mincing. What have you done? Do you really think I don't know?" Edward's arms were propped up on the tea table in front of Ruby. He really wanted to unveil the deceptive woman whom he had never cared about.
Ruby was startled by Edward's act, but she soon calmed down for she was really very tough.
"Did Hunter Law tell you anything?"
"You are really a clever woman, but you are often mistaken for cleverness." Edward took out Bella's hospital record for kidney transplanting and left it in front of Ruby.
Ruby glanced at it. "Well, you also saw your mother's signature on the record. Actually, it was her plan."
