Leaving the villa, Edward went to Cloud Town, the small town where Bella and Albie are located, according to the address given by Jason.
"Mum, Uncle Jason said Dad will come to see us later, right?" Albie asked excitedly.
"It's not dad, it's another uncle Long." Looking at Albie's disappointed eyes, Bella's heart ached. Maybe she was too selfish to ignore Albie's expectation to have a father.
But she had already done her best, hadn't she? Perhaps Ruby was right. She never knew how cruel a man's heart was. And she neither knew what lies behind sweet words.
She was wondered what Edward was intended to do? Bella slowly clenched Albie's hand. She was intended to leave Albie at home, so she would send Edward away easily. But this kid overheard the phone and insisted on going with her. She could not help but brought him out.
"Mum, I'm a little bit hungry."
Standing at the entrance of the town for more than an hour, Bella touched Albie's head lovingly saying, "Albie, it's time to go back for dinner."
"What if he can't find Nanny Gong's home?" Albie said with some concern.
"Then he will call us."
Actually, Edward had been here for a while.
"Why haven't they come back yet?" Edward was wandering up and down the courtyard of Nanny Gong's house. He had been here for almost half an hour and hadn't seen Bella and Albie who did not answer the phone.
"They said they would meet you at the entrance, and it's time to come back." Nanny Gong also began to worry.
"I'll check." Edward could not sit still. He drove along the only road out of town, looking for Bella and Albie.
Suddenly his cell phone rang. It was from Catherine. He hesitated for a moment and answered it.
