Chapter 0301
“Mr. Palmer, you’re going to get me into serious trouble with your father. He explicitly told me to dispose of these samples,” Rivers said, his voice trembling with fear.
“My father isn’t here, and if he ordered that, it means he’s hiding something. I’m going to find out what,” Lucius Palmer replied coldly. “Run the tests again. I want to see the results.”
It was Monday morning, and Lucius had been on his way to his father’s office to announce his decision to start working for the family company, something his father had always wanted. Suddenly, from down the hall, he e saw Maximus walking briskly–a rare sight. His father preferred scheduling external meetings in the afternoon, making this unusual behavior intriguing.

After a brief interrogation, the truth became clear: the stunning young woman Lucius had seen at the university wasn’t just anyone–she was his sister.
Lucius didn’t need confirmation to realize it. The woman bore striking Palmer features, and as he thought about it more, he saw a resemblance to his sister Laura. While this girl had dark hair and Laura was blonde, the similarities were uncanny.
Still, speculation wasn’t enough. Lucius decided to have a direct conversation with the clinic’s director. Being a Palmer and Maximus’s son–meant he could intimidate anyone or buy their silence. This time, intimidation did the trick.
By the time Maximus contacted Rivers to ensure discretion, it was too late. Lucius was already there, and the doctor had no choice but to play along with Lucius’s demands.
Hands trembling, Rivers ran the tests again and handed Lucius the envelope. Without hesitation, Lucius tore it
