Chapter 0433
“Nice to meet you, Ethan! My name is Maximus Palmer, and I’m your granduncle,” Maximus said warmly.
Ethan’s eyes widened in surprise. He turned to his grandfather and asked, “Grandpa Peter, is he another prandpa?”
Peter crouched down to meet his grandson’s gaze and said gently, “Ethan, little one, he’s my brother. We’ve only
just reconnected.”
“Wow! Nice to meet you, Granduncle!” Ethan exclaimed with enthusiasın.
“You’re a chammer! Nice to meet you too,” Maximus replied with a grin. “Now, let me introduce you to some kids
they’re your uncles and aunt.” He gestured toward his truck, opening the door for the children to step out.
But Peter quickly intervened. “I don’t think this is the best place for introductions. Let’s move somewhere else Follow me.”
With that, Peter and Ethan climbed back into their truck, and Maximus followed carefully behind, unwilling to lose this precious opportunity. He didn’t know what Peter had in mind, but he wasn’t about to let it slip away.
After a twenty–minute drive, they arrived at what appeared to be Peter’s home–but it wasn’t just any home was a sprawling mansion, more akin to a palace. “Humble? Are you sure about that?” Maximus muttered, glancing up at the mansion’s towering facade.
“Of course!” Peter responded, seemingly oblivious to the sarcasm. In his mind, Maximus’s home must have been even grander.
Once inside, Peter led them to the spacious living room.
“Take a seat. Now we’re more comfortable. Ethan! Get over here right now–leave Chester for a moment!” Perer called firmly.
Within minutes, the boy was seated beside his grandfather, looking curious.
“What’s going on, Grandpa? Who are they? They go to my school!” Ethan asked eagerly.
“Maximus, maybe you could help answer his questions?” Peter suggested.
“Of course,” Maximus replied with a smile. “Ethan, these are your uncles and aunt. This is Laura, my eldest daughter. Then there’s Paul, who’s fifteen, and lastly, Maurice, who’s eight. He’s only three years older than you, but I’m sure you’ll all get along well.”
“Wow! Nice to meet you all! So, it’s not just me, Dad, Grandpa Theodore, and you, Grandpa?” Ethan asked, wide eyed.
“No, my boy,” Peter said, his tone growing serious. “They’re your uncle Maximus’s kids. But there’s one important thing-

Peter’s gaze swept over the group, his expression stern. “No one, absolutely no one outside this family, can know about this. Understood?”
