While Peter wrestled with the chaos in his mind, his son Alden was preparing to ignite a war–not just against Frank, but also against Lucius, his own cousin. It was a battle where neither would escape unscathed, and yet both young men were continually underestimated by their fathers.
For Alden, the line had been crossed. Frank had dared to touch the most sacred thing in his life–his son. That wasn’t something he could forgive. If it meant torturing Frank’s daughter in front of him to send a message, so be it. One way or another, his son and the other children would return. Frank Levett would learn that Alden Palmer was not someone to be trifled with.
As the plane carrying the remaining members of the family soared toward a new destination, Alden made a decisive call to his most trusted men. He gave them explicit instructions to locate Alexia Levett. She would be the key to everything.
Maximus, fully aware of what his nephew was planning, knew the situation could spiral out of control. Determined to prevent a catastrophe, he drove like a madman to Marcus Bartz’s house. When he arrived, the frantic ringing of the doorbell immediately caught Camille’s attention. She had been watching the children, and one of the house staff quickly opened the door.
“Where’s Marcus?” Maximus demanded urgently, just as Marcus appeared in the living room.
“What the hell are you doing here, Maximus?” Marcus’s tone was cold, his expression tense.
“I know I’m the last person you expected to see, but we need to talk. It’s about the kids… Frank found them. He went after them.”
The color drained from Marcus’s face. For a moment, he froze, but then his fury erupted. He stormed toward Maximus, his fists clenched.
“You idiot! How could you let that happen?!” Marcus roared, nearly throwing a punch.
“Marcus, I didn’t know Frank had tracked them down! Alden was with them, but he had to leave with my daughter and Emma. A group of armed men arrived–they knocked out my kids, Paul and Serenity.‘
“Damn you, Maximus! My daughter better be alright, or I swear you’ll end up worse than unconscious!”
“Marcus, calm down! We need to think this through rationally. Frank wants complete control of Palmer Group. I have the authority to transfer him all the shares he’s after.
“Then do it!” Marcus barked furiously.
“I will, as soon as he contacts me,” Maximus said through gritted teeth, his frustration mounting.
“We’re not waiting. We’re going to Palmer Group to confront him directly,” Marcus declared, his voice steadier now but still brimming with tension.
Without wasting another second, the two men headed for Palmer Group. During the drive, Marcus pulled out his phone and dialed an unregistered number. On the first ring a deep, raspy voice answered, the accent unmistakably Hesperian.
“My dear Mr. Bartz! What a pleasant surprise! How are you?”
“Manuel Sanchez, you and I have some favors to settle. I need your men. I need everything you can provide.”
“Of course, my friend. We’ve got unfinished business, and d be happy to help. How many men do you need, and where?”

“As many as you can spare. Frank Levett’s son has resurfaced. I need weapons and manpower. The location is Valentia. Send them to the terminal, and I’ll handle the rest”
“It’s good to work with you again, Mr. Bartz. Just this once I’ll send my best men. Give us three hours, and we’ll arrive at the airport.”
“You’ve got an hour and a half.”
“I’ll do everything I can. Once we land, you’ll send me a plan so we know what to do on the ground. One more thing, Mr. Bartz…”
“Go on.”
“Remember our golden rule: ‘No body, no crime.“”
“Oh, I haven’t forgotten,” Marcus replied with a dark chuckle. “We’ve practiced it plenty of times before.”
“Good. Well, my friend, may your hunt go smoothly! If you need anything else, just say the word.”
Maximus, who had overheard the entire conversation, couldn’t contain his alarm.
“A hunt?”
“Yes, Maximus,” Marcus said, his tone cold and resolute. “We’re going hunting. I never thought I’d have to do this again–something I despise with every fiber of my being–but Frank has forced my hand.”
“Marcus…”
“Those damn Levetts are a plague. If I exterminate them, believe me, no one will shed many tears,” Marcus said, gripping the steering wheel tightly. “And Maximus, let me make something clear–when I say the whole Levett family, I mean all of them, including your wife.”
“What are you talking about? I don’t understand!”
Marcus slammed his fist against the steering wheel, his voice rising.
“Damn it, Maximus! Stop playing dumb! Alexia is alive, and your son is protecting her!”
Maximus froze, his expression shifting from confusion to shock. “How long have you known this?”
“There it is! You see it’s true! That damn Alexia is alive, but not for long. We’re going to use her as leverage. You’re not giving that company to the Levetts, and we’re not letting them blackmail us with our children. If we give in once, they’ll keep doing it forever.”
“What are you planning?” Maximus asked, his concern growing by the second.
