"Alright, wait for me at Granger Group. I'll come and pick you up in a bit." This person really was something else. I had repeated myself over and over again, so why hadn't he moved on from this? He must have brain damage.
I took a deep breath and said calmly into the phone, "Don't come, I'm about to leave."
The elevator arrived, so I hung up the phone and got in. It was only a few minutes' journey, he wouldn't be able to get here that fast.
But in the end, all that was pointless because I met Hendrix at the entrance of Granger Group. Well, to be exact, Hendrix had come here looking for me.
He was dressed in a custom-made black suit. His tall and straight figure, coupled with his handsome features, made him stand out even more in the crowd.
When I saw him, I subconsciously wanted to avoid him, but before I could react, he had already strode towards me.
He held me in his arms brazenly and said, "How long are you going to be mad for?"
I pursed my lips and did not struggle too much because there were too many people around. I kept a fake smile on my face and said, "I'm not mad!"
As soon as he pulled me out of Granger Group, a fancy red sports car suddenly stopped in front of us, catching the crowd's attention.
The cool car door spun up, and Aaron emerged from it, donned in a pair of chiclooking sunglasses.
Seeing that I was being held in Hendrix's arms, he took off his sunglasses and squinted at Hendrix as he said coldly, "Can't you tell from her face that she doesn't like it?"
Hendrix looked at him with disdain and his gaze fell on me coldly, "You tricked me into getting out of the car, and even tried to avoid me because of him?"
I...
This was slander!
"No!" I said plainly, "I don't know why he's here."
