By the time the nanny realized she should stop it, it was already too late.

“But you still shouldn’t step on It! How am I supposed to give this to Mrs. Reed now? Mr. Reed specifically told me to hand it to her personally If he finds out it’s ruined like this, how am I supposed to explain it to him?”

“That crazy woman! She doesn’t even care about the consequences for the baby in her belly!” Trisha scolded indignantly, before asking. “So, you just thanked the handsome guy who helped you with a cup of coffee?”

“What else shoud I do?”

Trisha slapped her thigh. “You should have invited him to have dinner together! Just buying him a coffee is not sincere enough!”

“It’s only the second time I’ve met him. Wouldn’t inviting him to dinner be too sudden?”
