yesterday, I kept having nightmares. Can you stay with me?”
Samuel was always patient with Celia. “It’s inappropriate for me to stay. People will gossip. You are a superstar, and reputation is important.”
“I don’t care about that Everyone knows about our relationship.” Celia bit her lip, and her voice was soft and pleasant. “Stay with me. Anyway, we are going to get married soon.”
Celia had no other choice. Ever since Elizabeth showed up, Celia had a sense of crisis. She was afraid of Samuel being seduced by Elizabeth.
Therefore, Celia had to become Mrs. York as soon as possible.
“Celia Samuel held her hand. “Didn’t we agree? Let’s leave that to the wedding night.”
A trace of frustration flashed in Celia’s eyes. Samuel used that excuse again.
Celia wondered whether there was something wrong with Samuel. How could he calmly refuse such a charming woman like her?
“Okay, it’s up to you.” Rage bubbled just below the surface of Celia’s mind, but she couldn’t vent it. She could only venture, “Sam, I didn’t expect Liz to become so beautiful. She helped Steven a lot and put her best effort into the show. You should thank her.”
“Thank her? Does she deserve it?” Samuel snorted, “Even if she became a fairy, I wouldn’t take another look at her. It’s nothing more than a trick.”
Samuel believed he knew Elizabeth’s thoughts. She wanted to buy Steven off. How bold she was!
Celia was relieved when Samuel said that. It seemed that Samuel hated Elizabeth. Celia thought she had worried too
much.
“Okay, it’s getting late. Go to bed early, and I won’t go in.” Samuel patted Celia on the shoulder.
“OK, Celia responded in a low voice obediently and sensibly. She stood on her tiptoes and kissed Samuel on
his face. “Drive safely, and call me when you are home.”
“Alright.”
Watching Celia go in, Samuel left. He didn’t know how gloomy Celia was after she turned around.
Celia made up her mind to teach Elizabeth a lesson.
Chapter 21
Celia smashed all her vases after she went back to the apartment.
Nancy, who had been waiting for Celia in Cella’s apartment, was too frightened to say anything and could only watch Cella vent.
The grievances Celia had suffered in the past few days were all caused by Elizabeth.
When Celia finished venting. Nancy stepped forward and said, “Celia, the director of The Legend of the Heroes called and asked when you could return to the crew for filming
As the heroine, Celia took part in 80% of the play. It was a huge project.
Samuel send consolation money to the crew? Why did they ask again?”
“Mr. York sent someone to finance the crew. The play has come to its end, and they want to finish it as soon as possible.”
Celia glanced at the mess on the ground. She was gloomy and cold. “They are greedy. Tell him my injury is not healed and that it will take another four or five days.”
“Alright.”
Samuel became sullen. If he hadn’t dodged quickly, Elizabeth’s backpack would have hit him
Elizabeth turned aggressive after four years.
The servants were so frightened that they dared not to make any noise. They looked at Elizabeth, who had
got mad, in disbelief.
No one, including Celia, dared to do that to Samuel.
Elizabeth was bold
Elizabeth was so angry that she burped again and kicked the chair like a hooligan. “Samuel, do you think you are great? I live here because of Grandpa. Do you think I want to live with you? How could your poker face compare with handsome young boys? Do you think I want to see you?”
Elizabeth’s words angered Samuel.
“Do you have the guts to say that again?” Samuel approached Elizabeth. Even if he didn’t say much, his hostility was frightening-
Elizabeth gulped down another mouthful of wine and giggled, showing her white teeth. “How could I do what you told me? It’s humiliating”
