Jasmine continues to cry, "Nina, do you understand my pain? You may not know the pain of losing a baby. However, we are all women, and you must know how harmful abortion is to the body of women."
Nina's hands give a violent shudder.
Of course she knows how it feels to lose a baby. She clearly knows the overwhelming pain, just like falling into the hell and living in disappointment and darkness forever.
"Jasmine..." Nina gives Jasmine a light shout. She can hardly help but want to comfort her.
"Nina, Lucien won't even answer my phone now. I beg you. Will you ask him to meet me? I don't want to break up with him. I want to try again! I must try again!"
"Jasmine, it's useless. Lucien... won't be with you again." Nina weighs the words carefully and says haltingly, afraid of hurting Jasmine.
Jasmine's face turns livid with rage. This bitch! Obviously, she doesn't want them to meet!
Her tone becomes more pitiful, "Nina, if I ask for Lucien, he's still determined to break up, then I will accept it! But now our relationship is ambiguous, I really can't give up!"
Her tone shows that she is extremely desperate but she will never give up, which makes Nina feel inexplicably sad in her heart. Why do women bother women?
Nina blurts out, "Then I'll help you persuade Lucien to meet you!"
She believes that Lucien will not break up with her and then make up with Jasmine just because he meets Jasmine once.
Perhaps, in her heart of hearts, she would like to take this opportunity to test Lucien.
After all, she really can't be compared with Jasmine. Jasmine can help the Gray Group develop better, but she can't give him anything.
Will he really be desperate and willing to be with her?
Nina is beginning to lose her confidence.
