Chapter 90 Looks Like a Person

Nina messes up her hair and tries desperately to cover her side face.

As long as he doesn't recognize her.

She wants the waiter to come, but the ring on the table breaks. She dares not to speak. She tries desperately to wink at the waiter in the distance, hoping that he will notice her.

The waiter doesn't notice her, but Jarvis, who is diagonally opposite, gives her a strange look.

Nina doesn't dare call the waiter. She's looking forward to Jarvis and Lucien eating and leaving.

Nina is shocked by the knock again. She quickly peeps through the gap between the green plants. It seems that Lucien and Jarvis don't notice her.

Nina breaths a sigh of relief and listens attentively to Lucien's answer.

"No." Lucien replies coldly. But Nina recognizes the bitterness of his words.

She has a strange feeling. She doesn't know if it is sadness or uneasiness. Anyway, she's not feeling well.

Jarvis claps Lucien's hand. "She is not meant to belong to you. Forget her. Go to my bar for a drink in the evening. I'll pick you some of the most tender chicks."

Lucien frowns. "I don't like the chicks in your bar. They all slept with you!"

Jarvis quips, "you've changed. Do you want to be a monk?"

Lucien gives a noncommittal hum.

Jarvis sits up and says seriously, "Lucien, are you guarding your virginity for Nina?"

"Go away!" Lucien punches Jarvis on the shoulder. Jarvis laughs, "I guessed it! You miss Nina so much!"

Nina sits by and listens to her name. She doesn't dare to look up or breathe hard. She is afraid that they will notice her.

Nina's cell phone rings! She hangs up quickly. But a second later it rings again! It's Grace. She may have something to tell her. But now Nina is afraid to answer the phone!

Nina's movements attract the attention of Jarvis, who is diagonally opposite. He looks at Nina and thinks the girl is familiar.

He looks at Nina carefully. Her heavy makeup blinds him to her features. Her popular, cheap golden wig and thick black eyeliner make him sure he does not know her. She is a complete stranger.

"Lucien. How is the cooperation between Gray Family and Germany in the development of new energy?" Jarvis and Lucien begin to whisper about their work.

Nina looks at the mute cell phone. There are 12 missed calls, all of which are Grace's. What should she do! Grace must have something to tell her. But now she's afraid to answer the phone. If she speaks, they will recognize her!

She wants the waiter to come. When she's out, she's going to call Grace to find out what happened.

Seeing a waiter passing by the table, Nina quickly grabs her. After a while the waiter finally realizes that she is going to pay.

This woman is really strange. Didn't she speak when she ordered just now? Why now she pretends to be a mute! The waitress brings Nina the bill in confusion.

At the sight of the bill, Nina's eyes immediately widen! More than $1000! It's too expensive!

That's impossible! When she ordered, she saw that these dishes are not so expensive!!

She asks the waitress with her movements. The beautiful waitress says haughtily, "the menu says pounds!"
