At the end of August, schools in Kityall City reopened in succession. 

Victoria could no longer keep Brandon and Bonny at the Louise Mansion since the siblings had to go to school. Pearl went to take the children back a few days before school reopened.

Victoria was reluctant to part with them. She took a bunch of things and filled Pearl's car trunk. Finally, she complained to Pearl, "Ethan should also come with you to pick them up."

Pearl explained, "He has several operations this afternoon and his schedule is quite packed."

Victoria took her hand, saying, "You're just being too considerate. How can you always speak up for him?"

"I'm just telling the truth, Mrs, Louise."

"Oh by the way, you two are now living in the villa in Yoreast Hills Garden, aren't you?"

"Yes," Pearl nodded, feeling sheepish, "I haven't had the chance to thank Katherine yet."

"We're family, so you don't need to do that. I just feel that the villa is a bit small, and the decoration is quite old-fashioned too. You can live there for now, then you'll move to another villa after I finish the decoration."

Within several seconds, another house would be given to her once again. Moreover, Victoria would definitely be more generous than Katherine. Pearl felt a bit lightheaded.

When you received a gift from someone, it was as if you would owe them a big favour. She just couldn't let things continue like this. 

On the way back, Pearl asked Brandon and Bonny about how they were in Louise Mansion. 

Bonny, who was sucking on the jelly in the back seat, said: "Grandma was very nice to me. She literally gave me everything I wanted."

"What did you asked her for?" Pearl said earnestly while driving, "Didn't I tell you that you shouldn't always ask others for what you want?"

"She is my grandma, and I didn't ask for anything much," Bonny said. 

Pearl thought she was right. Bonny may just ask for some snacks and toys. 

Brandon, who had been silent for a long while, suddenly asked, "Mommy, are you going to live with Ethan in the future?"

"What?" Pearl was quite stunned. 

Bonny also asked in confusion, "Hasn't uncle Ethan always lived with us? Why are you asking that, Brandon?"

It wasn't a good thing for her son to be mature at such an early age. Either he kept silent, or he would shake her to the core every time he did. 

She had never told the two children about the fake marriage between Ethan and her. Bonny was muddle-headed anyway. She couldn't have cared less about the meaning of calling someone Grandpa or Grandma.

But Brandon was different. He had his own thoughts, which made Pearl suspect he'd already figured out that she and Ethan were putting on an act. So she felt a bit guilty.

She tried to cover up her embarrassment and asked, "Why do you ask that, Brandon?"

"Grandpa and Grandma treat Bonny and I pretty well, and Ethan is a good man. Mommy, I feel that he will also take good care of you in the future."
