It’s said The Rose’s guitarist got into a minor car accident and couldn’t make it, so they had to call in a sub at the last minute. And man, she didn’t just fill the shoes, she set the stage on fire. I’ve been to a ton of underground gigs, but this girl is something else,” said Edwin, clearly impressed by Selina’s presence on stage. 

Charley batted his eyes and nudged Edwin. Tve never seen you talk up a girl like this. Are you into her or what?” 

“She’s a catch, that’s for sure,” Edwin replied, not missing a beat 

“Edwin, stay away from her, Trevon said suddenly, sounding serious. 

Edwin and Charley were so surprised, their eyes went wide as they stared at Trevon 

“Tude, did you hear that Trevon, our work–obsessed maniac, is interested in a girl?” Charley was almost crying, saying excitedly. “Trevont Good for you and your family; you’re finally interested in someone! I was starting to think you were either into guys or just not into anyone at all. I’m relieved, man” His theatrics were shut down quickly when Trevon gave him one of those looks that could freeze boiling water. 

But what really got Edwin’s attention wasn’t Selina’s stage presence but Trevor’s sudden interest. “You into her. Trevon?”

Trevon laid out the facts–he hadn’t planned on hiding his marriage in Selina from his close friends. 

Both Edwin and Charley were so amazed they couldn’t speak. They just gave a thumbs up that shouted out awesome.

In most underground rock bands, the singer usually got a lot of attention, but the main guitarist was very important too. Sometimes they had to play a solo without any plan to get the audience excited. It was a big challenge that showed how good and talented a rock guitarist really was. 

Elaine, from the crowd, held her breath. “Nail in, Selina” 

Timothy turned to Ashley, thinking she was worried, and aid, “She’s done for. Before she could blend into the hand’s sound, but on her own……. she’s got nowhere to hide” 

The sound of the guitar filled the room as Selins played it her fingers moving fast over the strings and getting lost in the exciting music with her eyes shut. Everyone in Starlight Club couldn’t take their eyes of the amazing gustar solo. People were holding on to whatever they could. 

It was so awesome. Selina’s guitar playing was really powerful, and her beautiful face made all the guys‘ hearts race. 

Selina was really imo her music, and she made her simple clothes look cool. It was not just about what one wore it was about the person wearing them. Some people really could turn everything around with just their talent and looks 

The room only came back to life after her solo wrapped up, and even her bandmates looked like they’d just witnessed something epic. The crowd was spellbound, only jolted back to the moment when Lydia hit the drums again. 

Thomas and Luke got right back in the groove, consummate pros that they were. 

Selina shook off the sweat, the adrenaline high undeniable–she had never felt so liberated in a performance. 

The thirty–minute set flew by like a blink. As The Rose stepped off stage, the buzz in the air was electric–fans clearly wanted an encore.

“She’s not just easy on the eyes, she’s new to

“That’s it, she’s the new guitar goddess. Hands down?” 

When Ashley heard the crowd hype up Selina, her face twisted like she’d bitten into a lemon. Head down, she clutched her dress hem, seething with jealousy. ‘How could Selina, that country bumpkin, overshadow me! This is not the way to go, she thought 

“Hey Ashley, isn’t Selina your sister up there? Mind if I get her numbert She’s way too hot to pass u family’s soap opera, assumed the two were still sisters.

Timothy dismissed the guy. “She’s just some small–time band’s guitarist. Come on, since when are you into the Harvey family’s rejects?”
