In the last two minutes, Selina put the finishing touches on her work. Clutching her manuscript, she casually strolled forward and handed it in, under the watchful eyes of everyone around. 

Ashley, bubbling with joy, spoke up. “Good thing Selina finished just in time, Ashley here was worried Selina wouldn’t make 

“Finishing with so little time left… she probably just threw something together in desperation. How could she possibly outshine Manuel with that?” 

Timothy had already envisioned his triumph over Trevon, securing Angel collaboration that would skyrocket the Clark Jewelry to new heights. This was his moment to firmly establish himself in the Clark Group while witnessing Selina’s downfall 

The four judges looked less than optimistic about Selina’s chances. After all, Selina had pulled some pretty risky moves. While everyone else was busy crafting their designs, she appeared lackadaisical, her work only just scraping completion at the final moment. What kind of quality could they expect from such an approach? 

Still, bound by their professionalism, they were obliged to examine Selina’s design and give their scores to bring an anticipated close to today’s event. Yet, upon seeing Selina’s submission, their initially critical eyes transformed into shock…. and then outright amazement! 

One of the judges was visibly excited, “How did you come up with this piece!” 

Selina just shrugged, “Didn’t the brief ask for something special for Valentine’s Day? I just let my thoughts roam a bit and this came to mind.” 

“It’s incredible… I’ve never seen such an original Valentine’s Day limited edition jewelry design before! 

The aesthetic is spot–on, if this hits the market, it could definitely set off a trend. 

What? Ashley and the others blinked in disbelief. This was not how the script was supposed to go.. 

Wasn’t Selina’s supposed garbage design meant to be unanimously panned by the judges, earning the lowest score and, with smear campaign by Timothy’s bought media, lead to her total disgrace? Why did it rather seem like the judges couldn’t get enough of Selina’s design? 

Derrick watched on with a knowing smirk, while Manuel was the one to truly panic, “No way… What did Selina design? She should’ve thrown in the towel already!” 

Not having been nurtured with the aristocratic upbringing of the Harvey family and quitting school after juni by simple country folk, how could she apart from that inherited Quinton and Sara face from her folks, have any talent in 

high, raised design? 

Manuel stared at Selina, her demeanor as calm and collected as ever as if everything was unfolding according to her plan. At that moment, his heart felt as though it had taken a heavy blow, with anxiety spreading through his entire being 

The judges conversed amongst themselves and finally settled on a score for Selina 

The big screen revealed it! 20 points! A perfect score! The crowd erupted into murmurs of disbelief. Nobody had anticipated such a dramatic turnaround. Least of all did anyone expect Selina to get a perfect score? 

Such a score was unheard of–no one had ever achieved a perfect score in a city–level Jewelry Design Contest. The highest was usually 19 points. 

With judges of international renown, known for their discerning taste, even an 18 would have been testimony to overflowing talent. But perfect… that was simply beyond imagination!

“Selina is just too awesomel Charley had never expected such an outcome, he was stupefied.

He had thought that if Selina could just avoid embarrassing Trevon, that would be enough. Yet there she was, seemingly. carefree, effortlessly snagging first place. 

It was as if Selina hadn’t even tapped into her full potential. “No surprise she’s Trevon’s favorite, Trevon believed in Selina’s capabilities, he understands these things far better than any of us 

Edwin stroked his chin thoughtfully, Just by looks and figure, Selina was top–notch, the kind with natural gifts that could mesmerize anyone. Edwin had seen many women, but none could hold a candle to Selina, it was an innate charm that could throw the world into disarray. 

Not to mention Selina’s queen–like confidence and her overflowing talent… Edwin couldn’t help but approach Trevon with a touch of jealousy. “Trevon, tell me where did you find such a perfect wife? I want to find one for myself, surely it’s better than those blind dates my family arranges, right?” Who wouldn’t be tempted by a woman like that 

Trevon wasn’t annoyed by Edwin’s admiration for Selina, it silently proved just how outstanding Trevon’s woman was, Ticked her up on a dating app” 

“Are you kidding me?” 

“No joke, bro 

Edwin was rendered speechless 

What in the world was that dating app? 1. Edwin, was all in! 

Meanwhile, Timothy was truly panicking. Selina had won the championship, completely foiling Timothy’s plans. Shaking his head incessantly, he muttered, “How is this possible… There must have been some mistake, or did the judges get bribed by Trevon? Selina won the championship!” 

Even Ashley and Sara were too astonished to speak. 

It wasn’t until the championship, the runner–up, and the third–place designs were revealed that everyone saw Selina’s work. 

“Is this…. handcuffs?” 

Selina named her design Shackled Hearts. 

The handcuffs bound each participant’s wrist to another, fostering a kind of symbiotic love relationship that interpreted the notion of love being possessive to an intense degree. Love was seen as a chain, as a reliance on one’s partner.
