Chapter 113
“Honey, I just happened to run into Herbert at dinner, and we had a deep conversation about our marriage. Here, honey, in front of Herbert, tell me, do you love me a lot?”
Trevon knew from Selina’s look that she was up to some mischief, a slight curve forming on his lips, “Of course, darling. As your honey, I am indeed the man who loves you the most in this world and there’s no one else.”
It was like a thunderbolt had struck Herbert hard on the head. It had him sizzling inside and out, nearly incapable of thought.
Herbert thought, Was this Trevon? Or had Selina stitched this up with some kind of Al technology?”
The Trevon that Herbert knew would never say such a
a thing.
“Honey. I’ve missed you so much when we haven’t seen each other. Be a good boy and wait for me at home after you shower and I’ll pamper you later,”
“Honey, you must keep your word and no take–backs.”
After hanging up. Selina softly patted the stupefied Herbert’s head, “I may be just a trophy wife, but my honey dotes on me, loves me. looks after me. Whether our marriage is happy is not for others to judge, as long as we are happy together. What
you think. Herbert?”

With that, Selina grabbed her bag and left smoothly.
Herbert sat on the floor, muttering to himself, “Impossible. There must be something wrong here. Trevon, what methods did she use to confuse you?”
When Selina returned to the villa, Trevon was waiting to greet her at the door.
Clad in black pajamas, his freshly washed hair neatly falling over his forehead, Trevon stood, a tall figure at 6 feet 2 inches, looking down into Selina’s upturned gaze. His handsome features were faintly visible in the light, and his sensuously cold lips unexpectedly appeared tender and inviting and irresistible to taste.
“Honey,” Trevon said.
Trevon was tender as if dripping with honey, warmly offered to take Selina’s bag.
Selina, enjoying the attentive care of her billionaire honey, walked arm in arm with Trevon towards the living room, her nose twitching slightly, “Honey, it’s rare to see you use perfume and you smell so nice. What scent did you use?”
“Honey, I showered with the fragrance you asked me to, remember? Trevon playfully flicked Selina’s nose, “It’s the white rose fragrance by Flowers. I know you dislike overpowering scents. I thought you’d prefer this one.” Trevon said.
Tve always loved your natural scent, but this one’s not bad either. Is there a ladies‘ version? Selina replied.
“It’s already set up in your dressing room. Trevon said.
Selina halted and playfully scratched the center of Trevon’s palm, “You are such a good boy.”
A slight tickle ran through Trevon’s heart as he leaned close to Selina’s ear, his deep and magnetic voice flowing, “Is there a reward for me then? You promised to pamper me after my shower. Don’t go back on your word, honey.”
“There is, but first, close your eyes. Selina said.

Trevon obediently obliged..
He envisioned Selina’s kiss approaching
But instead, he felt his cheek pinched between two fingers with pain.
Opening his eyes, he met Selina’s smiling gaze. She stepped back, winking playfully. “There’s your reward. Later, look in the mirror and everyone will think the mark on your check is from my kiss.”
“Can’t it be something more real?” Trevon said.
Dissatisfaction colored Trevon’s tone.
Trevon thought, “What sort of reward was that?
That depends on your performance. For example, when we chat later, hold me while we lie on the couch and become my human pillow in the cool breeze.”
Trevon’s eyes brightened up. With a swift move, he scooped Selina into his arms and said, “As you wish, my honey.”
Reaching the living room, Trevon cradled Selina in his embrace with her soft and perfect form nestling against him, as they listened to Trevon’s heartbeat quicken along with his rising body temperature.
Like a well–fed Persian cat basking in the afternoon sun, lying lazily at the corner of a windowsill, cozy and yawning, yet utterly captivating to onlookers.
Trevon stretched out on the couch, acting as the human pillow, and absentmindedly twirled a lock of Selina’s hair, “What happened tonight?”
Selina summarized the evening’s events succinctly.
Trevon raised an eyebrow, “Oh. did you really have Barry take care of David’s hand?”
“I made sure Barry didn’t overstep and he’s a professional. Unless we took care of David’s hand, he’d never change, only become worse. And as for Susie, she’ll understand why I did it, Selina said.
There was no other way to change David.
Selina had seen too many gamblers reject salvation. Offer them a little sweetness, and they cling like leeches, impossible to
shake off.
Trevon praised her, “Honey, you are so decisive.”
Money lost in gambling is bottomless, and with the Brady family always cleaning up after David, he would remain unchecked.
Trevon couldn’t settle it personally to avoid needless trouble and it turned out Selina handled it well.
Selina pouted, “Your family’s way of dealing with things is slow. Now I have to be the villain.”
“Sorry, honey. I didn’t think about it thoroughly. But you can be assured, I’ll bear any consequences. Did Herbert give you any trouble? Trevon said.
“That kind of bickering is beneath me. The Brady family is much like the Hudson family. Let them come and it keeps my life interesting
Selina added, “It’s been a busy day and I’m tired. Going to shower, honey. You should rest early too.”
