If you’d done it from the start…” He then paused, remembering what Manuel had told him. Manuel had advised him not to regret what he had done to Selina while treating her as his own sister. Manuel also warned him not to ignore it because of her identity as he might later regret it.

At that time, Lloyd had scoffed and ignored Manuel’s admonition: He simply felt that Manuel’s loss to Selina and the revelation that she was his idol, Angel, was too much of a shock for him, leading to an inaccurate concept. He was defeated by her and was a loser, thus he should never have come into her world, for himself and Selina. He pondered, ‘What on earth would make me have the urge to talk to Selina? Why did I stay here all afternoon waiting for Selina after being kicked out? For what?‘ 

Suddenly, a voice filled with worry was heard. “Lloyd!” Then, Ashley and Timothy hurried to Lloyd’s side, only to notice Selina. 

Gritting his teeth, Timothy questioned, “Why are you here? Selina, what have you done. to Lloyd?” He knew that nothing nice would happen whenever he met Selina. 

“Selina, why did you bully Lloyd? You defeated Lloyd and forced him to quit the racing circle. He has become a laughingstock to everyone. Even if you have any resentment, you should have already exacted your revenge…” Ashley said, staring at Selina with resentment in her eyes. 

Ashley tried to restrain herself, but she couldn’t. Selina had recently been taking up too much of the spotlight. Everyone was talking about Selina while entirely ignoring Ashley’s existence. Ashley was jealous of Selina, thinking that she had no right to be Trevon’s wife, and she despised the strange atmosphere in the Harvey family then.
