“I can go by myself, but don’t think I will give in like this!” Frederick was not stupid enough to confront Trevon in the latter’s territory, so he turned around and left. 

When Selina came out, she found Trevon waiting for her outside the restroom. She walked toward Trevon while wiping her fingertips with a handkerchief. “What’s the matter? Mr. Brady, do you have a habit of guarding the women’s restroom? Your image will be destroyed if others see it.” 

“What’s wrong? As a husband, is there anything wrong with me waiting for my wife to come out of the restroom and then go home together?” said Trevon. He took Selina’s bag and continued softly, “At the same time, I drove away an annoying person for you.” 

“I am really speechless, darling. Why are there such shameless people in the world? And they happen to be related to me by blood. I finally understand how difficult it is for you to be caught between the Brady family and the Hudson family.” Selina did not want to understand it in this way, but it happened to her. Everyone was fortune’s fool. 

Trevon stroked Selina’s head dotingly. “Honey, if you are in a difficult position, how about… I help you solve it?” Trevon’s eyes flashed with a murderous intent. 

Selina agreed, “Okay, darling. I am sure you know what to do.” 

Trevon responded, “Thanks for trusting me, honey.” 

Selina said, “Then, let’s go home. I want to eat the cupcakes you made. I am hungry after performing for so long.” 

Trevon asked, “Honey, since you asked for cupcakes, shouldn’t you reward me? In this way, I will be motivated to make the cupcakes.” 

‘Sly fox!‘ Selina complained in her mind but happily gave Trevon a kiss. After the quick marriage with Trevon, she was getting better and better at kissing. 

The greedy, domineering Trevon naturally could not be coaxed with a kiss. He could restrain his instinctive desires because of his love for Selina. Frederick walked out of Starlight Club in dejection. The security guards pushed him hard, and he stumbled and almost fell. He turned around and glared at them. “You! Is this how you guys treat the guests in your bar?” 

“A guest? We do not welcome uncultured guests who use false identities in our bar! Get out of Starlight Club, and do not let us see you again!” The security guards were arrogant and did not take Frederick seriously. They turned around and went back into Starlight Club. 

“Damn it!” Frederick gritted his teeth. As the second son of the Harvey family, he had never been humiliated like this. He thought, ‘All this was condoned by Trevon!‘ Thinking of Selina’s hatred for the Harvey family and Trevon’s attitude, he wondered, ‘Could Selina have been brainwashed by Trevon?‘ 

At this time, a car pulled up beside Frederick. The window rolled down, revealing Lloyd’s face. “Frederick, are you okay?” 

Frederick asked, “Lloyd, why are you here?” 

“I guessed you would come to Starlight Club today because The Rose would perform here. Everyone knows that Selina is the lead guitarist of The Rose. Besides, you secretly contacted your friends…” Glancing at Frederick’s messy look, Lloyd sighed softly and said, “Get in the car, Frederick. I will drive you home.” 

As soon as Frederick got in the passenger seat unhappily, he grumbled, “I finally understand why Selina hates us and the Harvey family so much. Trevon must have instigated her!” 

Lloyd looked at Frederick with a doubtful expression. “What is it that you understand? Isn’t this a problem between Selina and the Harvey family? How is Trevon involved?” 

Frederick explained, “Lloyd, you were not in Starlight Club just now and did not see Trevon’s look. It was as if he wanted to own Selina. I am Selina’s blood–related brother. He kicked me out of Starlight Club, and Selina’s attitude toward me was strange. I have been very nice to Selina from the beginning. The last time we contacted each other, she told me excitedly she was looking forward to seeing me. Although a lot of things happened in the meantime, she could not have become so indifferent to me unless someone instigated her!” 

Lloyd’s hands on the steering wheel paused, and he asked, “So you suspect that it is Trevon?” 

Frederick responded, “Who else could it be if not Trevon? He suddenly married Selina, took her away from the Harvey family, and even made every effort to stop me from winning her back and ridicule me for doing that. If he really cared about Selina, how could he stop her from reuniting with her family? How could he bear to watch her fall out with the Harvey family and lose our support? I think he wants to isolate Selina so that she can only rely on him!” 

Lloyd understood that Frederick said that out of anger, but listening carefully, he found that it made sense. 

When Selina had just returned to the Harvey family, her longing for family, as well as joy and nervousness, was not an act. Even though the Harvey family had done something wrong before and had neglected her feelings, she should not have been so disappointed that she suddenly wanted to 

cut ties with them.
