1. LAshley was at a loss for words, her gare occasionally falling on Malcolm, silently pleading for him to say something on her behalf. This act had deceived countless promising young men before. She believed that Malcolm wouldn’t stand idly by 

However, Malcolm remained aloof, quietly savoring his wine without uttering a word, not even sparing a glance at Ashley’s display of fragility, begging for protection. He didn’t intervene in the dispute, mainly because Lydia had given him knowing look curious to see how far Ashley’s acting would 

“Enough” Stop picking on Ashley!” Manuel couldn’t stand seeing Ashley in tears, the sight twisting his heart with pain. His hatred for Selina had reached its peak. It was unbearable for Manuel to see someone with the Harvey family blood. someone who should have been contributing positively to the Harvey family’s name, repeatedly hurting and humiliating Ashley like this! 

Just as Manuel was about to snap, he noticed the design drafts of Selina’s bracelet from the corner of his eye and couldn’t help but pause. 

“Where did you get this design from? Manuel reached out to snatch it, but Malcolm, quick as a whip, grabbed his wris 

“Don’t think you can do whatever you want just because I haven’t said a word yet, Manuel. Do you have any idea what it 

means to cross me?” 

Malcolm’s grip tightened, causing Manuel’s brow to furrow in pain. He struggled but could not break free. 

Finally, Malcolm let go with a contemptuous chuckle and mouthed some words, good–for–nothing people. 

And he thought he deserved to be recognized as Selina’s family? It’s a pity. To think that Selina’s lineage included such a loser. Selina wasn’t just the favorite among their fellow students. She also had the most extraordinary talent. 

The Harvey family couldn’t have imagined that the uneducated country bumpkin they looked down upon was such a shining gem. Once they realized what they had missed, they would be kicking themselves! 

“Manuel, are you all right?” Ashley immediately went to support Manuel, who shot Malcolm a dark glare. If it weren’t for fear of fully offending this top attorney from Mumzik and the trouble it could bring the Harvey family. Manuel would not have let it go so easily. His eyes were glued to Selina’s bracelet design drafts. 

Was it a coincidence? No… It couldn’t be. Manuel had studied Angel’s, trying to capture her unique essence. This bracelet carried Angel’s signature flair, an imaginative touch no one else could replicate. 

Selina tucked the drafts back into her bag. “What, you like staring at my work so much? Hoping to copy it, are you? Let me remind you, Malcolm is right here. Manuel, if you dare to do that this time, be prepared to rot in jail,” 

You designed this?!” Manuel was utterly shocked. Despite his extensive study of Angel’s designs, he hadn’t been able to grasp the essence, yer Selina, the uneducated country girl, could create such a stunning bracelet. Could it be that Selina was Angel? 

The thought was so startling that even Manuel shook his head to dismiss it. Was he going mad? The idea that Selina could be Angel, a treasured talent of the world, was preposterous. It must have been his admiration for Angel that stirred such feelings for the design. It had to be!

“What happened” Timothy had finally arrived after he didn’t see Manuel or Ashley, so he had followed the murmurings of the crowd to find them facing off against Selina and others. He rushed over. “Manuel, Ashley, let’s go.” 

He worried that Manuel, upon encountering his adversaries, might do something rash. Manuel had only just been bailed out of jail, and getting thrown back in now would not be an easy fix. Not to mention, Timothy needed Manuel to participate in the upcoming Jewelry Design Contest in six days to secure a collaboration with Angel. Manuel couldn’t afford trouble at this point!
