Selena felt a warm sensation in her heart when she looked at him.

“You silly girl… Make sure to tell me about these things next time, okay? I’ll make sure to keep you safe.” Larry gently ran his hands through her hair.

If I can’t remind her of the past, then I’ll just start over with her.

“Wow! Selena, is he your boyfriend?”

A few of the employees asked Selena nosily while Freya glared at her from the side, her eyes filled with rage and hatred and her fists tightly clenched.

“I’ll treat all of you to a meal someday, okay?” Larry placed an arm around Selena’s shoulder as he cut her off, sending the girls into another fit of excited screams.

Seeing how everyone was looking at them with envy and admiration, Selena hurriedly dragged Larry out of the supermarket.

“What are you doing here, Mr. Norton? Hurry up and go home!” she said anxiously.

Jeez, why is she trying to hide the fact that she’s happy to see me? This isn’t like Joan at all!

Larry held her by the hand and looked her in the eye as he said, “I won’t let anyone bully you.”
