Never Late, Never Away Chapter 2878
Inside the church, only Jake and the pastor were left behind.
The pastor stood up with his hands together and closed his eyes. There was a pleased expression on his face. On the other hand, Jake slumped onto the stage and raised his head upward as he tried to hold his tears in. However, they still flowed out eventually.
Meanwhile, Joan and Larry jogged the whole way with excited expressions on their faces. A long time later, they finally stopped at the beach.
The pair looked at each other affectionally as they held each other’s hand tightly, unwilling to let go. Although she did not remember him, for some reason, she felt a sense of familiarity as she looked at the man in front of her.
He’s Larry! The man who they said I’d loved before. She cocked her head to one side, studying his face as she subconsciously moved closer to him. Unknowingly, she reached out to gently stroke his face. It was a very familiar touch.
Gradually, she closed her eyes.
As it had been such a long time since they saw and touched each other, Larry was unable to hold back any longer. He pulled her in, placed his hand around her waist before leaning in. Then, his lips met hers.
Joan was somewhat overwhelmed by the sudden kiss. She wanted to push him away, but somehow, she was also very addicted to his kiss. Soon, she got into his rhythm, and as they hugged, they made out…
Not far away, tears trickled down Jessica’s face when she saw that sight. The couple was finally back together after going through such a tough situation. Only friends who had been with them would know how tough the pair had it during that period of time.
Caspian instantly pulled her into a hug, wiping away her tears. “What’s wrong? Are you envious of them? I can also give you…”
“Shut up!” she interrupted before he could complete his sentence.
This is great! They’re finally together again.
“Will you go home with me? Lucius and Ms. Young miss you a lot,” Larry said gently.
Instantly, Joan’s eyes dulled.
