Never Late, Never Away (Vivian and Finnick) novel Chapter 2956

Chapter 2956

"Johann, why don't you send Joan home? She's drunk” Clara suggested.

"Mom, don't you remember that I drank too? How can you ask me to send her back?" Johann refused.

If that was the case, the only option was for Joan to stay the night.

After the decision was made, Clara texted Larry using Joan's phone. It was just a simple message to inform Larry that Joan would not be going home that night.

Just then, Larry's phone buzzed with Joan's message.

What's going on?She's not coming back? She's staying over at Johann's place? Instantly, Larry felt a flash of irritation. He knew that Johann must have harbored ulterior motives! Indeed! Without any hesitation, Larry called Joan.

However, the woman's phone had run out of battery and was turned off.

What now? Larry tossed his phone on the sofa angrily.

As expected, Joan did not return home the entire night.

Yawn! Joan stretched lazily in the bed when she woke up.

She scanned her surroundings as she slowly opened her eyes.

What's going on?This isn't Larry's villa! The woman bolted up at once and studied her surroundings carefully.

"AHHH!"

Joan suddenly shrieked. She had just realized that she was wearing a set of pajamas that was not hers.

"What's wrong? What happened?"

Clara dashed into the room at once.

"Mrs.Wright? Why are you here?" Joan asked in shock as she blinked at the elderly woman in confusion.

Why is Mrs.Wright here early in the morning? Oh dear! She must have had a blackout from drinking.

She doesn't even remember that she did not go home last night.

Clara thought to herself and smiled at Joan affectionately.

"What happened?"

Johann rushed into the room as well and asked anxiously.

Joan was finally able to recall that she was drunk the night before.

But that's not possible! She glanced at her watch and noticed that it was already 7.30 a.m..

Usually, Larry would have already finished washing up by that time! Meanwhile, Larry was laying on the bed with his eyes wide open, awaiting Joan's arrival.

"Larry?" Joan called out softly while pushing the door open.

When she entered the room, she saw the man laying on the bed with his back facing her.

No way...is he really still asleep?

"Wake up, lazy pig! It's already 7.30 a.m..I got you breakfast..."

Joan said while walking over to the bed.

Suddenly, Larry rolled over and pulled Joan onto the bed before pinning her beneath him.

Then, he started kissing her fiercely and was only willing to let go of her when she started gasping for air.

"Tell me, what did you do last night?" The man asked furiously.

I knew he would be mad at me! Joan swept her messy fringe away from her forehead and with an awkward smile, she replied immediately, "Um...I got drunk last night and stayed over at Mrs.Wright's place"
