Never Late, Never Away (Vivian and Finnick) novel Chapter 3348

Chapter 3348 Judges Are Impressed

The audition was divided into three parts and lasted for three minutes in total. In other words, Megan only had one minute for each script. She recomposed her emotions quickly as she entered the second phase with the second script.

Compared to the first part, the character wasn’t as innocent and naive. Instead, she looked like a royal concubine who was nonchalant and aloof.

Megan understood that the character had such feelings because not only she couldn’t be with her loved one, but the emperor didn’t love her as well.

Reeling in her innocent look, her face darkened while the atmosphere became sullen.

The judges downstage were shocked to see how Megan changed her emotions quickly but smoothly. Even some of the judges, who initially looked down on her, were now paying attention so they would not miss any of her performance.

Meanwhile, Megan seemed to have completely immersed herself in the female character. She cared no more about her performance and fully committed herself to the process.

Recalling the scenes, she subconsciously put her hands near her waist; her gaze turning cold. Tears seemed to have begun to well up in her eyes, yet she tried her best to keep her composure, leaving only a minuscule of emotions to seep through.

After a while, she said calmly, “To me, love exists no more.”

It was a simple line, and yet, the judges were stunned by the layers of emotions expressed by Megan.

She was standing on a modern stage without any props—there were neither traditional houses with carved beams nor gorgeous silk dresses. Yet, the moment Megan sighed, everyone felt they had traveled back in time.

It was as though a royal concubine, who was cold but pretended to be strong, stood right in front of them. Gazing at the birds on the wall, she resisted the sorrow and loneliness and convinced herself that love was nothing but nihility.

Everyone was at a loss, for they didn’t expect to witness such a superb performance by a new actress who came here through connections.
