Never Late, Never Away Chapter 731

After she had explained to Finnick, Vivian continued to ask Evelyn again, “Earlier, you said that you planned the kidnapping in order to save the Morrisons. Since Finnick is here, go ahead and explain what that means?”

“You are uttering nonsense. This woman is talking nonsense. She just wants to accuse me!” Evelyn cried out in pain to Finnick. “I didn’t even say such a thing and what happened back then had nothing to do with me at all.”

“Even now, you want to deny it.” After hearing Evelyn’s retort, Vivian was fuming. “I wasn’t the only one who heard you say that. Hunter heard it as well. We heard you clearly.”

Upon hearing Vivian’s words, Hunter nodded at Finnick and said, “She did say that earlier.”

Finnick’s face darkened immediately. In the past, he believed that the kidnapping was done by Mark alone, and he had taken revenge by sending Mark to prison. It never occurred to him that Evelyn would be involved in the incident.

Finnick stepped forward and stared at Evelyn with darkened eyes. “How were you involved in what happened back then? Why did you and Mark conspire to kidnap me?”

Evelyn saw Finnick trust what they said, then she tried to talk herself out of the situation in a panic mode. “No, I did not conspire with Mark. Did you forget, Finnick? I was also kidnapped along with you. We were so in love back then and you were my boyfriend. How could I conspire with someone else to kidnap you?”

Evelyn was filled with resentment as she stared at Vivian and Hunter. “I didn’t say those words. It’s the two of them who were working together to intentionally use those words against me! They already had everything planned out before you arrived. Vivian, you’re so shameless. Not only did you seduce Hunter, you even asked him to cooperate with your schemes. Everything I say is true, you have to believe me Finnick. Because I love you so much, I will never harm you in any way. I swear to God.”
