Lucy tried to calm her down, but Chelsea refused to listen. She kept crying about wanting to go to Lucy. Lucy finally gave in to Chelsea because she could never abandon her best friend.

“Let’s make this clear, Chelsea. You’re just here temporarily to calm down. If there’s a problem between both of you, you need to face it.”

Lucy expressed her opinion in a logical manner, but Chelsea refused to listen. “Stop trying to convince me, Lulu. I know what to do about this. I want to punish that scumbag!”

Chelsea had wiped away her tears by now. She roared out loud, “You’re the only one I have now, Lulu! Hugh is a playboy. I don’t want him anymore. You have to take me in!”

Lucy comforted her gently, “Don’t worry. I won’t leave you in the lurch. I'll never turn my back on you when you’re in such a predicament!”
