Lucy and Linus chatted happily.
After getting to know Linus, Lucy realized that he was quite easy to get along with. He was polite and never crossed the line by asking inappropriate questions. Unlike the fake and disgusting man she had just encountered, Linus’ words carried no lewdness.
Lucy asked, “Are you from here?”
“Yes, I was born and raised here, a true local.”
“I see. I feel like I’ve seen you before…”
“Really? I feel the same.” Linus’ eyes showed a hint of suspicion.
“Y-You know who I am?”
“Of course. You’re the royal princess of Charleston. I’ve seen you in the news before.” Linus stirred his honey tea.
“Ah… I thought I had disguised myself well enough, but you still recognized me.”
Lucy deliberately wore a pair of black-framed glasses, thinking that no one would recognize her. Since her identity had been made public and she had appeared on television, she would often be recognized in public, which had become quite troublesome.
“You just wore a pair of glasses. Of course, I can tell.”
“Well… Maybe I look familiar to you because you’ve seen me on television.”
That was probably why Linus thought she looked familiar, right?
“Not exactly. I feel like I’ve known you for a long time.”
