Daniel looked out the window after hanging up.

He said toward the door, “Come in.”

His assistant entered and stood where he was without moving. He could tell that Daniel was not in a good mood.

“Send someone to watch over Linus. Drag him over to me the moment you notice anything unusual. Make sure this doesn’t go wrong!”

His assistant left immediately to get this done.

Linus, oh, Linus! He hoped that Linus did not forget whose side he was on. If he did, Daniel would not let him off!

Lucy decided to head out to paint in the afternoon to get some inspiration for her dress. She packed up her things and walked quickly toward the beach. That was when she heard someone calling out to her, “Hey, Lucy! Lucy!”

She turned to look in the direction of the voice and saw Linus running toward her.

“Linus Gusman? What are you doing here?” Lucy was surprised to see Linus appear.

He went into a slight daze as he saw her dressed differently than usual.

Lucy was wearing a flower dress. She had tied pigtails on her head. She did not look like a married woman at all.

“Oh, um… I… I stay nearby. Don’t you remember?” Linus felt his cheeks turning red as he looked at Lucy. He immediately lowered his head.

Lucy thought he was having a fever when she saw how red his face was. She used the back of her head to feel Linus’ forehead.

That was when Matthew’s subordinate took a photo of it. On the other end, Daniel’s man took the same photo as well.

Linus blushed even further when Lucy touched his head. He stammered, “I… I’m fine. Where are you going?”
