Chapter 1313 It’s My Turn To Reveal My Cards First
Not to mention, she had never feared anything.
There'll always be a way to overcome any challenge.
"I know there's a saying that goes 'ladies first,' but if I reveal my cards first after both your people have been defeated, wouldn't it mean that you're feeling afraid?"
Elisa let out a deliberate chuckle. She had passed the chance to the man to reveal his cards before her.
The man laughed, "You can only win or lose in a gamble. You can ask anyone here if I have been afraid of anything before. There's no point in following the old saying now that both my subordinates have shown their cards. Why don't we reveal our cards simultaneously as I count to three?"
"It's a good suggestion." Elisa nodded as she smiled, agreeing with his suggestion.
The man started counting.
There was a sense of nervousness spreading around the table.
But the only ones nervous were the people on the man's side.
He had to keep his title as the god of gambling and win against Gareth in the first round.
When the cards were revealed, the man had six, while Elisa had eight.
Elisa won this round.
However, Elisa raised her brows and commented, "You mentioned that the rule is to bet every time a card was revealed to see who had the highest card. I had the highest card this round, but you had the same number as my friend. We should order each card based on their symbols, the highest being spades, followed by hearts, clubs, and diamonds."
"Since I won this round, I'll be the first to reveal my card, and we can go around in a clockwise direction. There's no need to be courteous at the gambling table by letting the ladies go first."
Elisa had clear pronunciation and logic.
The men couldn't help but stare at her in awe. Initially, they only thought of her as eye candy, but it turned out that they had underestimated her abilities.
"Since our little sister here has already voiced her thoughts, we'll have to follow." The man slyly smiled.
"She doesn't have a brother like you." Gareth frowned and insulted the man relentlessly. His eyes flickered with annoyance momentarily before they resumed their indifference.
