Elisa paused briefly before saying with a complicated expression, "Grandma, the medicine can indeed restore your health, but some things might just be your own psychological pressure. Don't think too badly of others; I'm not that great either."
If Elisa's team heard this statement, they would be shocked. She was Mystic Orchid, the internationally renowned divine doctor, yet she claimed she wasn't as good as believed. She must be truly humble to make such a statement.
However, Julia was determined. "No. I knew you were reliable and capable when you treated me. Compared to Gareth, I trust you more. You said you're not good enough, but you're the best to me. Elisa, I know some things cannot be undone. I just hope that you'll still visit me often. Will you?" Julia croaked with a soft, hoarse voice.
Elisa's concern toward Julia was indubitable. She answered firmly, "Of course I will. Grandma, since you insist, please send me the information about that person. I'll find him."
Julia trusted her, so she chose to trust Julia too.
Julia nodded and hummed, "Okay."
Although she lied to Elisa, at least she managed to hold onto her. She would do all she could to bring Elisa and Gareth back together!
"Now that you have a boyfriend, I should give you some gifts. This bracelet…" Julia wanted to remove the jade bracelet she had been wearing but was stopped by Elisa. "Grandma, I've seen you wear this bracelet since Gareth and I married. You must have been wearing it for many years, so you might not be able to remove it easily. Moreover, you must have a deep connection with it after wearing it for so many years. I can't take your bracelet, so please keep it."
