Gareth's eyes were cold and sharp like knives.
Will laughed. "Gareth Wickam, who are you to say these to me? You should be aware that you're her ex-husband and are not related to her anymore. Her life has nothing to do with…"
Before Will could finish his sentence, Gareth stepped forward and grabbed his collar. The next second, Will pushed him away.
Gareth snorted, "You better not let her down!" His eyes became more ferocious and hostile than before.
Seeing Gareth's stance, Will smirked as he thought nothing of Gareth. "Are you starting to be concerned about her? But alas, it's too late!"
A bloodthirsty smile crept over Gareth's lips. He tightened his grip on Will's collar as if he wanted to strangle him.
Will could clearly sense the brutality in Gareth's eyes. After all, Gareth still cares about Elisa.
A man could read other men well. At once, Will grasped Gareth's hand forcefully, but Gareth didn't let go. Instead, he resisted Will and growled, "In any case, it's not your place to say these words to me!"
Although Will had difficulty breathing, he retorted to Gareth frostily. "You're no one to say I'm not in the place to say that. You're already out of this game. Remember, from now on, you have nothing to do with Elisa."
Although this conversation wasn't within the scope of the agreement with Elisa, Will just couldn't stand Gareth's attitude. He couldn't stand Gareth's ungratefulness and how he treated Elisa hostilely in the three-year marriage.
He only began to regret it after losing Elisa; now, he was talking as if she was his belonging. Who is he to think that as long as he turns back to Elisa, she will change her mind and happily run to him?
