After the photo session, Elisa bid farewell to everyone in a friendly manner. "Please be careful on the road, especially since it's snowing. Have a safe trip home. Bye-bye!"
She unconsciously reminded them to be cautious, only to realize later that she resembled an idol to some extent.
But that wasn't a big deal because she was genuinely sincere.
Her actions weren't solely for the purpose of helping Gareth. It was also because the young girls, with their bright and sparkling eyes that still radiated the innocence of their youth, held up their phones and timidly asked, "Can we take a picture together?" They seemed afraid of rejection, and it felt like they were on the verge of biting their lips.
It was incredibly difficult to turn them down.
When she finally returned to the private room, Gareth teased with a smile, "Our celebrity is back. It seems like next time we go anywhere, you should wear a mask and sunglasses."
Elisa glared at him, huffing, "Are you making fun of me too?" She paused for a moment before asking, "Did you see it?"
Gareth nodded slightly. "I heard the commotion outside just now and initially planned to step in and help you. But it seems like there's no need for that now."
"Since you saw it, you should know why I did that. Later, you'll have to pay the bill yourself," Elisa said irritably.
She was only joking, as the bill would be insignificant and didn't matter to either of them.
It was just her way of giving him an excuse.
With a gentle and indulgent look in his eyes, Gareth chuckled and nodded. "Isn't that what I'm supposed to do?" He playfully winked.
The two of them continued chatting for a while longer. Then, Gareth called the waiter and finally began ordering.
Previously, they hadn't ordered anything because Elisa was delayed.
They understood each other without saying a word.
When the food arrived, the abundant tortellini was a testament to its quality.
