"Everything I'm going through now is what I deserve, but please don't involve my family in my mistakes," Baxter earnestly pleaded with everyone, clasping his hands together.
Elisa glanced at it briefly before switching off her phone. Even though she was busy eating pork, Gareth could sense her emotions in that moment.
"How about—" Gareth began, seeking her opinion.
But before he could finish speaking, Elisa interrupted him. "Now that he has released such a video, wouldn't it be my fault if I continue to pursue his responsibility?"
Gareth immediately picked up where she left off. "I can step in—"
"You? Please stop joking. Who doesn't know about our relationship now?" Elisa interrupted him again before he could finish his sentence.
Even though they had yet to remarry, Gareth often accompanied her everywhere.
When outsiders saw that, it wouldn't make any difference between either of them taking action.
Gareth understood, but he really couldn't bear seeing Elisa continue to suffer. So, he proposed again, "Then, how about I let Vincent handle it? I'll find someone else to deal with this matter?"
Words escaped Elisa.
She glared at him speechlessly. "It's not about the person taking action. No matter who does anything now, the blame will fall on me. Forget it. Let's continue eating. There's no point in discussing this matter."
"What about Grandma?"
Recently, the company had encountered numerous problems. There had also been too many things going on with Julia.
Not only were there Bella and Jocelyn, but also Kaylee.
She didn't want to deal with those people anymore, but she quickly remembered the most important person she had forgotten—Melinda, who was also Linda.
