Joyful words greeted Elisa, surprising her. "Grandma, why are you here?"

Julia's unexpected visit left Elisa puzzled, as she hadn't given any prior notice.

Elisa welcomed Julia through the door. "Grandma, I actually haven't been back for long. Have you finished preparing the things for Gareth?"

"Oh, I've asked Thomas to move the stuff. This is the chicken soup that I have stewed. It's still warm. You should try it quickly," said Julia as she hurriedly handed the thermal flask to Elisa.

Julia's kindness was something Elisa couldn't refuse. But given her current situation, it felt really strange.
