No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric) novel Chapter 164

Alfred had told Justin not to disclose too much information to the Liddells, so he couldn't tell the truth.

Xenia looked rather displeased. If Lucas hadn't been present, she would've continued egging Justin on to take legal action against them.

She could only say, "Justin, thank you for doing this for me. The Liddell family is grateful for what you've done."

Lucas sighed in relief. All was well now that Justin wasn't going to sue them for it.

Noelle found this unbelievable. Was Justin really not going to take legal action against them? Something felt a little off but she couldn't put her finger on what was wrong.

Frank walked over and said, "Thank you, Mr. Parson. Our apologies for causing so much trouble. Don't worry, we'll pay for all the medical fees. Xenia will also take care of you until you recover."

Justin coughed and replied, "It would be inappropriate to make too big a deal of this. After all, it's all for Xenia.

He had glazed over the main issue now, right?

Although Xenia felt a little frustrated that he had given up, she was flattered by how much Justin was doing for her.

Xenia turned to Noelle and said, "Although he'll let this go, Justin has been badly wounded. Shouldn't you apologize?"

Lucas nodded. "Indeed, an apology is in order. Come here, Noelle."

Frank frowned and said, "The school doctor is here as well. Tell him to apologize."

Why was Noelle the one to apologize?

Justin immediately shook his hands and said, "T–there's no need for apologies. These are just unnecessary courtesies."

Alfred probably hadn't left yet.

He'd stood up for Cedric and Justin had promised him not to continue finding fault in Cedric for this issue. If Alfred and Cedric came, he would probably be the one apologizing!

Frank said, "Mr. Parson, you've been wounded. An apology is well deserved."

"No, no, no. I'm not hung up on stuff like this. It's all water under the bridge now. Please, let's all not bring this up again, alright?"

Justin was terrified of Alfred and didn't want to see him.
