Cedric sat in the passenger seat and glanced at her through the mirror. "It's not too late now."
Noelle was relaxed. "Right, there's something I find weird. Why would he decide to not to take legal action against us? He also didn't need us to apologize."
Alfred said unnaturally, "It was Justin who made the first move. He must've suddenly realized it was his problem."
"Is that the case?"
Noelle thought it seemed a little off.
Based on her understanding of Justin from her last life, he wasn't that magnanimous of a person. However, this could be because of Xenia. After all, she'd deployed all her tactics to make a good impression with Justin.
When she got back to her apartment in the afternoon, her phone kept ringing. Upon seeing that it was Lucas calling, she blocked him. The world suddenly fell silent.
Noelle knew what Lucas wanted to say, but she didn't want to hear from him at all.
She logged into the game and formed a team with two others.
At night, she planned to livestream her Player Kill Match.
If she won tonight, she would be ranked first.
However, after beginning her stream, Rachel texted her and said, "Queen, Xenia is spreading misinformation about you in her steam."
"What's she saying?"
"She accused you of pissing off your brother so much he had to be hospitalized. Xenia also said you were ungrateful."
This was all Xenia could do.
