Yeah, Xenia schemed for years and treated the Liddell brothers as her own. What did she get in the end? She would never match up to Noelle!
In the end, Xenia picked up her phone and opened the text. It was time to formulate a backup plan.
Once Noelle came home, there would be no place for her here!
…
Noelle enjoyed her next few days. She played games every day.
However, she received a call from the Ministry of Education. "You're Noelle, right? We're from the Ministry of Education. Many people have reported you for cheating. We will be conducting an investigation into your exam results. Please come on campus and help us with this."
She cheated on her exams?
It seemed like a joke to Noelle.
As to who had reported her, Noelle didn't even need to guess.
Xenia was the only person who was jealous of her.
Noelle wasn't flustered. After all, she hadn't cheated.
Before leaving, she surveyed the empty apartment. Cedric and Alfred were at work all day.
The app she had participated in creating was about to be published.
She thought for a moment, but decided not to inform Cedric about this. Instead, she called a cab and headed to school. She could handle this on her own.
When Noelle arrived in school, she realized that Bruce and Lionel were present.
She walked into the office. The man sitting on the couch said, "You're Noelle, right? I'm Robert Jameson, and I'll be in charge of looking into your grades. I've got some questions for you."
"Sure."
Noelle was unbothered.
Lionel said, "Noelle's grades surged toward the end, but her grades weren't bad at all before that. She's got firm foundations. It wouldn't be a stretch for her to mature in the last few months. She's capable. We're not afraid of getting her papers checked."
