Cedric leaned back into the couch with his shirt open, his collarbones exposed to the air.

Noelle felt seduced by his leisurely attitude.

She looked down and said, "It's just a kind suggestion."

"Don't worry, she'll sleep with me."

Cedric smirked and said, "Kiddo, you've got many ideas at your young age."

Noelle's mood soured after hearing that. She couldn't imagine him being so nice to other women. Thinking of him sleeping on the same bed with someone else made her feel bad.

She calmed down. "I'm going back to rest."

She turned and left, slamming the door while she left.

Cedric heard the noise she made and raised an eyebrow. Had she gotten angry?

"Cedric, you're being dishonest. You don't have a girlfriend. Liar!"

"I hadn't lied to her. Wouldn't your girlfriend sleep with you?"

Alfred sipped at his lemonade. "You're playing verbal games with her. Noelle is so sweet. She even placed this by my bedside. If not for her background, I think she'd be a great match for you."

Cedric's eyes darkened. "Don't make jokes like that."

"Alright, back to the topic. I received news that the surveillance footage for Xenia's exam has been obtained. She'd cheated and there's concrete evidence. What are you planning to do about this?"

Cedric smiled, but it never reached his eyes. "We'll do what needs to be done"

Pests like her had to be destroyed.

After Noelle got back, she thought of what Cedric had said. She wanted to beat him to a pulp.

She cuddled up in bed, feeling sad.

Initially, she'd forgotten that Cedric had a girlfriend and thought that she could forget about it if she ignored it. However, in the end she was merely lying to herself.

When Frank saw her, he glanced at her warmly and said, "You're here. Start the meeting."

Noelle stood outside and listened to everyone speak. Some even complained that the partners were pushing too hard.

She considered that a few days ago Cedric and Alfred hadn't been coming home. They'd probably gone to handle issues related to the game.

After the meeting ended, Noelle prepared to leave without a backwards glance.

"Noelle, wait."

They were the only people left in the room.

Frank said, "Donovan came back last night. Do you know that?"

"I know, but my decision isn't going to change."

Noelle had just reached the door when people appeared. The man in front of everyone wore a suit. He was handsome and stern.

Donovan asked, "Where do you think you're going?"
