Xenia screamed, "I was knocked unconscious and brought here by Noelle!"
Noelle smirked and replied, "That's not true. We were discussing the event proposal together, and you fell asleep because it was getting late."
"You're lying! You knocked me unconscious and brought me here! You knew what was going to happen, so you did this on purpose to hurt me!" Xenia shouted.
She wished that she could kill Noelle right then and there.
Noelle then asked, "What do you mean by, 'I knew what was going to happen'? Do you have any proof?"
"Of course, there's proof! The hallway has—" Surveillance cameras.
But Xenia suddenly remembered that she had ordered Gordon to turn off the cameras long ago so that she could erase any evidence of her presence. Now, she had no proof that Noelle had brought her here.
She was now at a loss for what to do.
Noelle's gaze turned cold. "You wanted to say there were surveillance cameras, correct? Sure, why not? Go and check the cameras.
"Hmm? Why did you stop talking, Xenia? Is it because you already know that Gordon turned them off earlier, so there's no evidence left?"
Xenia was extremely guilty and naturally did not admit to the truth. "How could I possibly know that?! You're the one who turned off the cameras! It must be you!"
Donovan was getting a headache. "So what exactly happened?"
Noelle picked up the glass of milk beside her and explained, "Someone tampered with this milk, and drinking it would make you fall unconscious.
"Xenia and I just so happen to be discussing the event proposal, and she told me not to lock my doors at night. And after that, the drunk Gordon barged into my room."
Xenia immediately explained, "I don't know anything about this! You were the one who wanted to fire Gordon, making him resent you! That's why he did this!"
