Frank’s expression turnedcold. He said, “As long as none of us say anything, Donovan won’t know.” 

Kenia was rattled. She said, “0–Of course.” 

Now that Noelle was not living in the Lidell residence, Xenia could no longer play nicks on her. 

When Noelle returned to the apartment, Alfred was still voicing his complaints. “Just what kind of people are they? Why are they forcing you to accept their apology so urgently?” 

Alfred used to think that Frank was just biased

She finally realized that he had overheard that part of the conversation 

Noelle packed up the truir planter and replied, “I need to return and park my stuff, of course,
